I made a ship for zeppelin mod with a lot of redstone features, like canon (actually arroxs canon <.<') piston powered landing gear (quite annoy to put in a ship under 1000 blocs), piston doors, and more!
I am aware of the ship actually lokks like some.. flying camping-car, it's dificult to make redstone look nice.

I think the original modder stumbled upon a problem updating for 1.3 final, and couldn't find the time to update it after. I suggest you to try the metaworlds mod, it is in 1.6 version I think, it works very well, even with big ships

one prob, when you fly it with the zeppelin mod, all the red stone will break, as the zeppelin mod isnt compatible with redstone, on the chosen aircraft

Actually one of the last updates solved this problem, I already flied this one at 20 speed without any redstone problem, just pistons bug
