The world as you know it above the surface has ended! You now must save yourself and embark on an epic adventure through the ruins of the once paradise of man! Enjoy your stay in After World!
Thank you for everyones support in helping the server and posting on forums! Im glad to finally make the Server submission of this most anticipated server! WELCOME NEW AND OLD PEOPLE!
What is After World?
After World is a new server in which you trek through a ruined world with many landmarks of the once flourishing place. The place is big, and full of diffrent ruins that were designed carefully and with effort, including areas in which you go through a dungeon-type vault, bunker, even sewer system! The back story to the world is currently under a blog http://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/after-world-the-dying-world-data-logs-of-vault-10/ which gives a whole, what seems like a novel, story. Its been about 40 years since the last bomb dropped... now its your turn in history!

Whoa hold on partner! This is a very limited server. An want to give the BEST server experience in Minecraft. We always love posts and suggestions, post away any day! Applications is a diffrent story.
WE ARE ACCPETING THE FIRST *5* APPLICANTS TO POST!
The three makers of the server, LORDKNELLERD, thewhisp, and another whom remains a secret to the server...
Now to the details of this server.
DETAILS:
- NO GRIEFING (haha I would like to see you try :D)
-Server is a HARCORE ROLE PLAY and we really enforce it to keep the server unique
-Mods: Bukkit, iConomy, Essentials, Factions (WIP), BigBrother
-You have a Nickname in server!
-The whole place is basically a ruin, you go and scavenge for supplies!
-You CANT build, only in huge pieces of land you BUY or you purchase a secure military plot in-game (Details later)
-You CANT destroy... its already all been destroyed by other people...
-Lots... I mean lots... of monster dungeons around...
-You will be busy exploring the places on the map
-We run the whole server on LAST DAYS texture pack, you MUST have it on!
-Server OP #3 is a ghost in the code... so is he a legend or real???

FACTIONS: (TBA)
Black Rock: Supposedly a branch in the once United States army that was created for special reserch in advanced weaponry and to design safe forts on the surface of After World... Leader is unkown to this day
Hostile Faction
Survivors: Anyone who survived the wars of the past... all over the map. They have no leader.
Passive Faction
Raiders:People whom survived the devestating war, but continued to stay on the surface... usually aggressive and wold kill anyone for supplies...

The world is ravaged by several wars, plagues, and poisened by man's creations. Several years have passed since humans have actually explored the World After... nnYou play as the role of a once Vault liver (Yes, that idea is from Fallout series, but the rest of this server takes no from the gaming series) and escape your Vault that was on the brink of destruction and explosion... Your own Vault story or how you end up in this part of the ruined world (Longer the better!): I was born out in the wastelands of what used to be Montreal. my father was a raider, my mother, a pickpocket. as I spent my childhood in a very radioactive and frigid neibour hood, I mutated into an odd creature that looks like a cross between a rat, a wildcat and a small boy. I lived my whole life in small gangs moving along the rail. I killed my first kill at the age of five, much to my surprise, guns were not in fact toys. I spent most nights either in an improvised shelter made of a tarp and rope, or in a train car that would end up on the side of the track. there was always plenty to hunt. I have come to be known as "The Lynx" out in the ruins of NY because of my mutation, and a tradition to take a specific part of my kill with me. Using the back of an axe, I like to knock out the Canines. I have used a large variety of precision weapons usually made from what I could find in old "depaneurs" or convenient stores... I wish I still had that hunting rifle, but 'the widow-maker' gets the job done. I have wandered as long as I can remember, so why am I here? I don't know or care, why should you?

own Vault story or how you end up in this part of the ruined world
(Longer the better!): I was alone with my older brother mark, he was taking care of me when i was just a child. Life in the vault wasn't easy for a kid, when it was time to make friends, it was the hardest thing to do since i had nothing in comon with the other kids. My brother took care of me when my parents died, he worked in the engine room and kept the lights working. I guess we had a good life with 3 meals a-day, radio and books. It wasn't always good in the vault, i woke up the one day when i heard a nock on my bedroom door, i went to open it and found out there was a officer there with hand cuffs. I was shocked what happend when i heard my brother blew the engine up, even though the lights were on. Must of had a back up generator. I was thrown into a cell with another kid called jake, he didn't realy talk neither did i. We started to play a game of cards that one of the officers gave me. He won some times i won some as well, 3 mounths past, they let me go, and before i went i asked "can jake come with me?" they allowed it. Me and jake were put in a family with nice simple people, but..... they weren't my brother and i will find out what really happend to him. Jake vollenteared to help, jake was only 1 year older then me, so it was great to have a big brother with me even though he wasn't but it made me happy to have him with me. When i got scared of thinking of monsters he would let me stay with him at night till morning, i guess thats what good brothers do. Me and jake adventaully made our way out of the vault of working as men since we got older, we got a good deal with the overseer to let us out, he accepted to let us go. So my and jake started our new lives in the wasteland to find more friends...... family.

Your own Vault story or how you end up in this part of the ruined world (Longer the better!): I was one of the first people to get to the vault, I played video games so I knew what it was and what was going to happen, my gut was right I got a radio and tuned in to see if I could find anything, I found someone calling out for help... Then silence like she just died... Then I heard it was coming from in MY VAULT!!! I got a weapon as fast as I could, they where all dead before I got there I had to kill all of them, they where zombies by then. I decided the vault wasn't the safest place to be... So I went for a stroll.

The last memory i have is the military coming in to your town to evacuate everyone, then you blacked out. You walk outside and clench your fist and scream in agony as you try to find your way home

Your own Vault story or how you end up in this part of the ruined world (Longer the better!): I had been a specialist in the top secret Outpost 22-3, Airdrop division. There was a calamity, the weapons we had been storing detonated........I was one of the few survivors, so the actual apocalypse was just secondary challenge. I'm not saying it was easy to survive but....I finally arrived in the region after traveling for years. I hope this will be a place where I can finally carve out an existence...

Your own Vault story or how you end up in this part of the ruined world (Longer the better!): It was a dark and stormy night, I was on a dark pirate ship preparing to take out the final vessel with the loot, I lead my crew off the ship and got captured, I had to pay my dues by looking for the mystic crystal of huhgyBLAH when A darkness shrouded me, it grabbed my goggles and a sandstorm from this desert occoured. I killed him with my sword but it lived, in my sword dropping my sword I ran, I got lost and saw a mysty light. GREAT! I thought but by that time when I wanted to go back. The sword was creating a sand storm. I ran to the city and became one of you where I was trapped forever, I made my choice of how to live I studied and realised the only way back was time travel so I travelled over the city (assasins creed style) and reached a portal which took me to the future not where I was meant to be, back home.

Your own Vault story or how you end up in this part of the ruined world (Longer the better!): tomworrall123 was a brave policeman an leader in vault 1337. This vaultwas a test vault for all vaults out there. They tried to iradiate the vault put failed until one day, after the bombs fell. Some kids set off a small bomb blowing up part of the vault under a ater factory full of iradiated water that was pumped out before the war. The water flooded the vault and the small bit that was not flood was iradiated by the leaking water. tomworrall123 got most people to safty before going back for a child. He saw a nuk;ear arm was set for 3 miutes and swam to tell the others but stumbles opon the outside world. He then escaped and was serching for what he could od to avenge vault 1337 and all the resedents
