you should rlly fix the /vote links

Hello ^_^ my name is MadCast. I'm a new
player here and thus far I have enjoyed the server quite well. The
members are friendly and the rules are simple, making the gameplay a
favorable and enjoyable experience.









A little about me =P



I've been a MineCraft player for some
time now. I started out in the original Experience Craft and worked
my way up to Builder rank. From there I continued to advance and as
the server grew, so did I. I soon became Trial Mod, Mod, Admin, Head
Admin, Head of Staff, Co-Owner, and Owner of several servers. During
these times, ExpCraft had undergone severe changes and the server
split into two sides. Those who wanted to follow GNR and those who
followed SWY. My loyalty to SWY and to Tizle brought me to Eternal
Empires, I name I coined myself and the server that became my baby;
my pride and joy. I owned a few other servers at the time, either
ones I made on my own to test new ideas, or ones that I had taken
over to help friends.









As my skills and knowledge of the ever
changing world of Minecraft expanded, I met extraordinary people,
discovered knew ideas, and learned from my several mistakes. I
learned what works in a server and what brings a server down. I
disappeared from MineCraft for a while and in my time away from the
creative sandbox world of blocks and pixels, I focused on designing
the perfect Server. After many hours in notepad and web designing,
and many a days tinkering with a few programs, I discovered that I
was going about it wrong. A perfect server was not about what mods I
used or the theme, though those things do help and are nice to have
organized and well planned, but rather, a perfect server came from
having the right group of people. To have a well running server you
must have devoted staff, players who are willing to get as lost into
the world as I was when I first started out, and an all around good
charisma and attitude on the server that makes a fun and entertaining
environment to be around and to explore.









Realizing this however, did not bring
me back to MineCraft right away. I joined the Army and many life
changing events happened every day and I grew a lot as a person. I am
still in the Army but have now found my self wandering back to little
old MineCraft and I must admit, it too has gone through a LOT of
changes, and I find simple joy in coming across this server as it has
the same qualities I had so desired to create in my own world that I
believed would make a perfect server.









I can't think of a better server to get
me back into the experience of MineCraft than AgedCraft. I've had so
much fun playing Survival and discovering Skyblock. Dez is a
wonderful server owner and the people who play have all been a blast
getting to know. Admittedly Mattgabe2 made me nervous at first haha
^_^* but none the less, I've enjoyed every minute spent on this
server.









I've made a few donations to the server
and I plan on continuing to do so. As I've clearly stated, I love
this server and want to support it in any and every way I can. I hope
AgedCraft sticks around for a long long time.









So once again, thank you for becoming
my new Minecraft home and allowing me to explore the world of
AgedCraft.

HOW DO I GET ON

HOW DO I GET ON THE SERVER (SRY I SOUND LIKE A NOOB BUT IM NEW TO MINECRAFT)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, I've been playing for a few weeks now on the server and it seems like the new 1.7.2 survival world that pvp is on even in a claimed area. I thought it wasn't on in there in the older version. If it wasn't on in the old one, and now it is, is there a way to turn pvp off in a claimed area? Some guy just camped and kept killing me and my friend. Kind of a fun killer. I understand that anything that isn't claimed is fair game, but it seems a little much to be killed every five seconds.

If of course, claimed land has never been safe, then you can totally disregard that.
