UPDATE NEWS

What's up PMC? Currently we are going through some renovations, so the server will be down until Monday, April 18th (Hopefully). We will most likely have a beta testing weekend for all those who have donated so far. If you want in, go donate!

We have made the decision to finally drop Spoutcraft, as we feel too many people are too lazy to download it.  Reec3ty has been very busy this last week coding many bukkit server modifications to compensate for the removal of Spoutcraft, and it turns out our new features are better than what we originally had with Spout!

GUNS

Anyone who has played CRAFT-Z in the past knows that our custom Spout guns were our main attraction. Don't worry, the removal of Spout did not cause us to remove our guns and switch to bows and arrows or anything stupid like that (No offense MineZ).

We still have a huge arsenal of 16 guns, all with their corresponding ammo's. However, they will only appear to be guns if you have our Craft-Z Texture Pack, which you can download here. Otherwise, they are  retextured miscellaneous items with the same stats as their Spout counterparts. The only limitation we encountered was the resolution, the guns can only be 16x16 without the HD texture patcher (As opposed to the HD guns we had earlier). It doesn't impact too much though.

NEW ITEMS

Along with our guns, we have added a slew of new items based on The War Z.

The list is as follows:

Weapons:

Flashlight  - Starter weapon; weak
Bat -   - Common; not very strong
Hammer   - Uncommon; pretty strong
Tactical knife   - Rare; strong, 
Katana   - Extremely rare; very strong
Pickaxe  - Very Common; weak
Iron shovel  - Uncommon; pretty strong

Grenade   - Rare; very strong

Items

Night vision goggles -Lets you see in the dark

Painkillers - Heals you a lot
Bandage - Heals you a little
C01 Vaccine - Cures you of the Zombie Virus

GUI

Another big part of the "Craft-Z Experience' was our custom GUI. For the most part, this has stayed the same throughout the renovations, except for a few key changes. The health bar is no longer the thirst bar, it is now just the health bar. The xp bar is now the thirst bar, and the xp number continues to be the stamina bar.

BACKPACKS AND GLOBAL INVENTORY

Unfortunately, dropping spout meant dropping backpacks. We could find no other way around this, sorry about that. Scratch that! We still got backpacks! Woohoo!

The global inventory system allows players to deposit and withdraw items into an inventory screen that can be accessed when in a safezone or at spawn. This feature still functions correctly, the only change is that it is opened with the /gi command instead of pressing 'v'.

BARRICADES

Barricades are a new feature, which allows you to fortify buildings to protect against zombies and players. Check the images above to see what they look like.

ARMOR

We now have several custom armor types from The War Z. These are not just retextured armors, they also have their own stats derived from TWZ. Pictures will be posted above. The list of armor is as follows:

FOOD

Custom food has also been added into CRAFT-Z. Each refills the same amount of hunger as their counterparts in The War Z.  The list of food is as follows:

-Chocolate bar
