War is what you think is the best part about Minecraft. War and fighting. When entering Divinity you will at first not be very dangerous in PvP, but that will change with time. You might begin your path by slaying mobs, getting loot to sell on the global market and sometimes even money from them. There's also the possibility of looting the old ruins of once mighty cities, who knows what powerful gear or valuables you can sell and buy gear for there may be? Once you have built up your strength it's time for the real fun to begin. If you have enough money, you don't have to bother with mining or grinders and such boring artisan-work to get powerful enchanted gear. Both items and enchantments can be bought on the global market. Don't worry about losing your hard-earned gear, when dying both your inventory and xp is kept. You still suffer durability damage to the items and drop some of your money however, which can be picked up again. Durability decrease won't end your items either unless you let it, since you can repair even enchanted items at a cost. You may also want to use some spells from the four schools of magic to make you even more powerful in combat. To cast these you don't need any training but you will need a good amount of reagents.
Once you are ready, you will probably already have good idea of which factions will be the best targets for you. You travel to a faction of rich artisans who should be easy prey. Walls cannot stop you, you simply build a siege ladder just outside their land and then move it up to their wall thanks to the ship plugin, which also works on land. Each time you slay an enemy, they drop some of their wealth for you to pick up, like a mob. Steadily your money grows, allowing you to buy even better gear and enchants. Eventually the enemy might be so weak that you can start looting their town for its riches in blocks and gear. Chests are automatically unlocked when you claim land so anything anyone has can be conquered. Perhaps you will even be able to afford an aircraft and terrorize your enemies with bombing runs. Between raids you might hone your skills in the warzone which you can teleport to at any time, where nothing is lost when dying. You will eventually have risen far in the PvP-ranking and one day you may even be the best killer in the world, beating even the other warriors.
Path of the Artisan

Creating a fortune for yourself and building impressive constructs with that wealth is what attracts you most to Minecraft. You will probably begin your journey either by joining a faction for protection or perhaps striking out to make your fortune alone. The ways you can start creating your fortune are almost limitless, since anything can be sold on the global market. Literally everything can be traded. For example, by holding an egg and left clicking a creature, you can turn the creature into a spawn egg if you have enough redstone to do so. Then you can sell the spawn egg on the market. Even enchantments can be traded, so if you want to make a living as an enchanter go ahead and build a grinder and then start selling enchants. Traditional activities like mining can be made even more profitable than usual by using certain spells like enderhaste. The economy is highly realistic and prices change according to supply and demand. This means that to become truly wealthy you must use your talents for business to find out what trading venture would be the most profitable at the moment. You could even hire people to help you out in your business, letting you skip the dirty work and focus on leading your business venture. The global market is not the only way to monetary gain however. Using sign shops you can create local trading markets to sell goods that perhaps the average customer didn't even know existed. With the vast amount of goods that can be traded on the global market, it wouldn't be surprising if many items are unknown to most customers. Even bartering is easy since you can meet up with the customer quickly at the server spawn by using a command to get there. Â
When you have become wealthy you may unfortunately find yourself a target for raiders and assassins. When dying you drop a small part of your money which can be picked up by anyone, and if slain enough so your faction is weakened the raiders can take your blocks too. However, gold can win wars too. Being probably wealthier than the raiders, you can afford better equipment for yourself. You can also easily afford to hire mercenaries to protect you or even send them to destroy the raider camps, or hire workers to build better fortifications for your faction. Once you have secure protection, you can build anything you could dream of. Money can buy anything, blocks or people, and you've got the money.
Path of the Leader

Leading and organizing is something you've always found fun to do in Minecraft. You never had much interest in running around hacking with a sword or wasting your life away in a grinder for petty money. Your ambitions are far greater, you want to lead, be the controlling will of a people, whether for making war or building a great city. The path you have chosen begins with creating a faction of your own and recruiting the people who believe in your plans for the faction and want to be part of them. Together you build a community, with you directing the resources and manpower of your people to whatever you have in mind. As your success in war or building becomes apparent to the rest of the world, more people will flock to you, giving you even greater power to affect the world around you through them.
Once you lead a large faction, with an army at your back only the most exceptional warrior could threaten you. You may also have become as rich as any good artisan through donations or taxes from your members. Perhaps you make some money from confiscated items from members who have turned traitor or gone inactive, possible due to you as faction leader being able to remove locks from chests. Perhaps you will even be a great commander, conquering weaker factions and taking some of the spoils for yourself. If your goals are more peaceful, you might have built a successful industrial city with cleverly built factories created by skilled artisans to bring endless wealth to both you and your faction. Whatever you need, it can be bought for your great wealth on the global market, you will never have to bother with menial tasks which takes time away from leading your faction. Whatever you want built or destroyed, your people will make it so, especially if there's pay involved. Eventually, through military or economic dominance or both, you may be in command of an empire of several cities and vassal factions and be known as the most powerful leader in the world, perhaps even the most powerful that the world has ever seen.
