ForestGrounds

ForestGrounds is a custom PVP Server Map. ForestGrounds is a relatively simple PVP arena; it’s an extremely large forest with 2 teams: red and blue. The forest is divided in half by a large fence and the SpawnCabin where important info will be posted. It’s basically a never-ending war between the two teams; you can fight, steal, and more! The Rules are as follows:
You May NOT USE FIRE or LAVA
You May NOT USE TNT unless it’s NRG (see Game Modes)
You May NOT leave the forest (small clearings are allowed to be crossed)
You may NOT use cheats, mods, etc.
You May NOT wear a diamond helmet or iron boots
You May NOT use foul language/swear
You MUST wear your team’s identification helmet
You MUST listen to all Referees, Admins, and the console.
You MUST check into the SpawnCabin before playing, as special events or important info may be posted.

What Each Person Is:
Player- One of the fighters who have joined the server; Identified by either gold or chain helmet depending on team.
Admin- Bseagull, Spongebob0725, and MVJ23; Identified by diamond helmet.
Referee/Ref- One who enforces the rules while actually playing; Identified by iron boots.

While playing, all rules must be followed and will be enforced by Admins or Refs. If caught cheating, the player(s) will be banned from the server unless we’re in a good mood  , in which case they would be kicked for the day.

Game Modes
CTF- Capture the flag: Teams must attempt to take a gold block that the other team has hidden somewhere on their side.
TD- Team Deathmatch: In this game mode, when you kill somebody, say your team color, your name, and the person who you killed. The Admins on patrol will be keeping track and after a time amount set at the beginning, the console will say, "STOP!!! END GAME!!!" Any kills after this will not count. If you were in the middle of typing your kill chat alert when the time was called, type "before" at the end of your chat. Admins will then count the kill for your team. If you are killed while typing a chat alert, it will not count.
SD- Survival Deathmatch: It’s every man for himself! There are no teams, however alliances may be formed. The team cabins will be locked with iron doors, as they are off limits. At the beginning the Admins will give you a bow, sword, and some arrows. Every time you are killed, say your name, and the player who killed you.
The match is over when the console says, “STOP!!! END GAME!!!”
NS- Night Survival: It’s every man for himself! There are no teams, however alliances may be formed. The team cabins will be locked with iron doors, as they are off limits. At the beginning the Admins will give you a bow, sword, and some arrows. If you kill a mob, say your name and the mob name or point value: Creepers are 4 points, Skeletons are 3, Spiders are 2, and Zombies are 1. If you kill another player, you will not be awarded any points but it will slow that player down! The match is over when the sun starts rising.
LPS- Last Player Standing: It’s every man for himself! There are no teams, however alliances may be formed. However there will only be 1 winner. The team cabins will be locked with iron doors, as they are off limits. Once a player dies, they may not rewpawn, they must go to the title menu. Admins will be watching the spawn point and any respawn-ers will be kicked. Every time a player dies, the console will say their name. The last player standing wins.
NRG- No Rules Griefing: In this mode, pretty much anything goes. TNT is allowed, yet still NO FIRE. Still no commands, either.
BG- Blocky Goodness: Each member of this game will be carrying one gold block in their inventory. They will also have a sword, a bow, and 1 stack of arrows. All players will attempt to kill each other in a free-for-all fashion. Once somebody is killed, the killer will go and collect their drops, including the gold blocks. This rounds is 10 minutes, or the last man standing. The winner is whoever is last or, if there are more than one person left, whoever has the most gold blocks out of the remainders.

What each cabin contains:
Food
5 Full Sets of Tools
5 Beds
Chest of Identification Helmets
1 Cake
1 Mining Hut Outside of Each Cabin

Only 10 People will be allowed to play the game at once (hence the five beds and five sets of tools).
MVJ23 is a referee and will be playing with a team. We may add a person named Flashdash who will also be a referee for the opposing team.

Before all events, each team will have 15 minutes to prepare their area and set up "defenses".

Schedule:
Once we get enough signups, we will probably start next weekend. Most events will be on weekends because school is supposed to be starting soon.

Notes:
Please note that any trolling or spam will deleted and anybody trolling or spamming in game will be kicked as a warning, then banned if they continue. Also note that there may be kids playing or watching, so please NO SWEARING. Also, this server is still very simple, and you need to be in our Hamachi network to actually get on. We are working on getting a VPS, but it may be a while. I will post our Hamachi Network and ip address shortly.

IMPORTANT: Some matches will be recorded and put on YouTube, so by playing you hereby agree to have your character, name, etc posted online.
