You know, I really would love playing this server, if it were updated to 1.5.2, instead of 1.4.7.
I am not changing my Minecraft client to 1.4.7 just to play one single server. But if you do update it to 1.5.1, please feel free to PM me. Thanks.

I love this server. A lot of people have talked about so many bans but if you follow the rules you won't get banned. This server is for great builders who are mature. Try the server and you will love it :)

This server is terrible.


I got on, got into a small argument with a player I knew irl, and the admins blew up on me. Whenever I expressed a tiny bit of discontent they'd yell at me through the console and go "shut the fuck up charoodler". It got ridiculous. I eventually got banned because the admin couldn't deal with what I was saying. The admins set up traps for players such as blocks that will ban you instantly as you break them and seem to enjoy banning people for the hell of it.


Not to mention that the server puts you in a trial area where you must wait for some admin to approve your building. It's a lot of work for, no payoff whatsoever. You're stuck on a server with a bunch of pretentious little kids and an admin who has a stick up his butt. Not worth it at all.

The good, the bad and the ugly.  
Now that I have been using 6r36 as my sole online server for almost a month I figure it was time to log into Planet Minecraft and leave a review.   6r36 is a good server using anti-greifing plugins for a very close to vanilla experience for most users.  They use a multi-rank and multi-world system to attempt to ensure fair play and prevent the "pop-in" greifers.  
So, let me start with the "good", the staff and members are for the most part great.  They are very helpful and even the regular users are quick to lend a helping hand and do whatever they can to make your time present much more enjoyable.  It is true they have had some turn-over with the staff but the replacement staff have done as much as they can to be present to deal with situations.  The trial world system works well to bore off greifers before they get to be a problem on the main worlds.  You see, when you first log in your rank is VERY low and you are stuck in a trial (probationary) world.  The goal there is to build a nice house using the resources given to you and provided by "farms" in the world,  After building a house an administration will overlook it and decide if you are serious about being present on the server.  If you are you get ranked to pre-builder and may leave the "triall" world to a normal MC world to start your serious builds.  Lag is acceptable and does not seem to interrupt the game play the vast majority of the time.  PVP and greifing seem to be contained well and does not interfere with gameplay as much as some other servers I have and do use.  
        The Bad,  well even a good server has a bad side to it and this one's is the same ranking system that makes it good.  Once you do hit a regular world you have no access to the Nether or the End until the staff ranks a player up to builder.  Without these worlds you also have no access to many materials that builders love to use.  No access to glowstone or Netherack to build fireplaces.  
         The ugly,  the ugly is simple,  downtime.  The server seems to crash often and has to be taken offline for repairs.  I know running a server is difficult and time consuming, but nothing seems to aggravate like the message "the server can not be reached".   To help do my part I have decided to donate to all servers I use heavily including 6r36.  the good side to this ugly is they do honestly try to get the server back online as fast as possible.

hey Layla, we're still running 1.4.2 right now. Mojang recently released 1.4.4 and are releasing 1.4.5 shortly. Rather than go through multiple updates and plugin conflicts etc we will be staying on 1.4.2 until a stable release of Craft Bukkit and core plugins etc are ready for 1.4.5. Hope you can join us soon ^^.

As I'm relatively new to multiplayer, I can't really hold this server up on a pedestal in relation to others since I haven't experienced many. However, there certainly is a community feel to it, and members and admins alike go out of their way to make things fun for everyone--well, except the griefers. They'll have to find their own special circle of Nether to settle down in.

Also.. "friendly admins" is hilarious when cunning says: "Get off your high horse you twit, you're playing a game for kids so you're immature too" when told politely that he's immature. Not to mention Fusion's short fuse with the /kick command and language, I really do not recommend this server due to false advertising and Nazism lead by the staff.

Oh hai Skarm. My short fuse with the kick command? Perhaps it's just that trial has been full of griefers, hackers and idiots like yourself recently. You see 1.4 bought with it a horde of new players, neither used to MC nor server play and you can see how this starts to grate a little. It's funny how the only people who ever post here are those that were banned, butthurt much.

As I.m reading the comments it shows how much the admins/owner/mods dont care about the gargantuan list of people (I'm included) that get banned by FusionGamer for no reasons, and his language being worse than an old sailor while inappropriately kicking and banning people.

FusionGamer banned me for the reason :lolno, while I did nothing to deserve to be banned. He was also kicking people for reasons containing foul language, and they, nor I, deserved to be banned. I am asking that an admin or the owner please do something about this.

You spawn in a staging area where you have to build a nice (not dirt) house to advance on to the actual world. It's an elegant system in theory, but the admins weren't on for the multiple days I logged in, so I was stuck in limbo.


The people in the actual world seemed very nice in chat, but when I complained in chat that my house was being griefed, no one acknowledged me, even after several complaints, not even a reply. After I dumped a little water into the house of the guy that had more or less destroyed the top floor of my house, he whined incessantly until someone ended up banning _me_.


Terrible experience, avoid this server, there's no accountability and no support for new server members whatsoever.

I'm sorry you had such a bad time on our server. Unfortunately several of our admin have been unavailable due to family holidays and dead computers and this has slowed down the process a fair amount. In regards to the grief, if you email us using the ban support form here - http://6r36.com/contact-staff/ With the full details of usernames we can look into it and make sure the correct players were banned.


As you can understand sometimes mistakes are made in our quest to keep 6r36 as grief free as possible.

Main has played a huge part in sifting through the serious players and the griefers. While serious builders do tend to hang around there for a few days before ranking and usually experience some grief it does get rolled back and dealt with accordingly. It's a minor annoyance but it stops the nice builds from being griefed constantly.
