Legends of Talarra is an RP focused server, we aim for a great community, and most of all to have fun!

Plugin wise we have variety of different plugins, these are a few! Custom skills, Backgrounds, Custom name, Custom blocks and more!

We have special blocks, with different properties, along with a veriaty of different custom weapons, including: A flintlock, cutlasses, daggers and more!

Prologue:

Five thousand years ago, the kingdom of Talarra was plunged into chaos by a fearsome warlord. Controlling hordes of undead minions and demons, as well as blood-lusting fanatics, he forged a path of carnage down from the north of the kingdom. The people who lived in Talarra then, the Amarae, fought as best as they could, amassing their armies to stem the flow of evil into their lands, but the onslaught of the warlord was too much. With their armies slaughtered, and their cities in flames, the Amarae made one final gamble to stop the warlord. Their greatest mages travelled to the Temples of the Elements and harnessed their power together. As the warlord's armies closed in, the power within the Temples was released all at once.

 

Legend tells that in that moment, the undead armies simply fell to dust, and were blown away by the winds. The warlord's howls could be heard from all corners of the world as he witnessed his armies crumble, and with a crash of thunder, he was consumed by the elements. What became of the Amarae no-one knows, and when humans settled these lands two thousand years ago, the only traces they could find were the ruins of cities and temples, and a few scattered texts which tell this story of warning.

 

Now, peace has reigned in Talarra for over a thousand years, and its people have prospered. However, strange events have been unfolding recently. The normally reclusive Thaga have begun to venture into Talarra more than usual, and thousands of refugees have been reported coming from the north, bearing tales of destruction and demons. They tell of a warrior of exceptional strength and ferocity, and his unstoppable army. Although no sign of this army has been seen within Talarra's borders, it can only be a matter of time before the age of peace is shattered.

this is the best server ever and dersers at least 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 diamonds and the same players and im surprised that there aren't  more people on it and that the are so many that haven't heard about it :( please every one go on this server..............................you get the idea

As for Legends of Talarra, I must say it has a great game play. Its is keyed in perfectly with a great balance of RP, community, and fun. It has some very interesting plugins and runs crystal clear. Nothing to much to ask for. The mod and admin team are always on everyday making sure it runs well and no confrontations spark. Player base is pretty solid, and we all help each other out. Oddly, I think it helps improve creative thinking and grammar as well. Plus they always have really awesome RP events. Keeps RP fresh and makes you think the server is more "real".

They have a great fleshed out skills system. Yeah, I know right? Its amazing on what plugins can do these days! Most of the plugins on Talarra have been specially crafted by Sable_Shade who is apart of the admin team. There are many skills scattered around Talarra. They cover from Crafting skills, Fighting skills, Mining skills, Farming skills, to Magic skills, and so much more! As long as you apply yourself and train hard for the SP (Experience points) and Crowns (Currency of Talarra) you'll be able to acquire amazing skills that will defiantly make you enjoy your experience on the server even more.

It runs the latest Spoutcraft which adds an extra punch to your regular Minecraft. With hard work, Talarra's mod/admin team were able to create over tons of new special blocks for a more beautiful experience. Enjoying the world itself or making something of your own has never been more cooler with these! Besides custom blocks, they've also added loads of new custom weapons which are fun and interesting to see and use. Spoiler, "We got guns over here!" Mmmmmhmmm.... Flintlocks but wait it gets better. Staves, Historical based weapons, fighting axes, Obsidian based weapons, Daggers, and probably more to come in the future. These are all that have been released so far and can be crafted.

The players have a freedom in becoming what they make of themselves on Talarra. With Talarra you have some great Rper's who add that fun bonus to the community and "your" game play. If I rated Talarra I would give them a 90 from 100. A: Because its fluid and runs well and with all these cool custom plugins make it even more fun to play B: It is still in its earliest of stages. So, testing is still happening in sorts of ways. They do make up for it and trust me it doesn't ruin game play. Or get in the way of things. Lastly C: Its all about the community man, they are like a family on there. The Admins and Mods keep the server running well. But its all about the players in their eyes. In the end its the community bonds the tie us all in together as friends and the quality RP roles on and on for everyone to enjoy. I recommend people who enjoy good rp, a friendly community, and having fun for FREE. So I recommend you to come and play on Legends of Talarra.

Talarra is the best server for RP and fun in the world, no doubt. No server has ever or will ever be as unique and well crafted as this server. Dan, or sable is by far the hardest working coder I have ever seen in the massive minecraft user base, his skill, idea's, and dynamic approach to the server make him the powerful foundation that Talarra sits on. Not all credit can go to Dan though, Carlos or Calitosd serves as not only a powerful investor but a dedicated and hard working RPer, most of the events on Talarra involving RP have been run by him, and as a very experienced RPer I can say that he just makes things really fun and interesting whether it be by spawning an army of Giants to crush a camp we build or helping us construct a massive fort to protect ourselves from waves of the horde (That he also spawned) there is never a dull moment with Carlos around. He is an amazing guy a powerful presence in Talarra, and we would never have as much fun as we do without him. Another awesome person who has been a dear friend of mine for the last year or so is Aldriona, she is the artist of the server, she is credited with the construction of our texture pack and the design of our custom blocks. There is not a doubt in my mind that without her the server would look boring and dull without her textures. Not only is she an incredibly hard working member of the admin team but she is a real life artist, and an amazing one at that, I even contracted her to paint a picture of my character from a former server where we met, and it was worth every dollar. she's kind, caring, and an exceptional RPer, yes I'd say that the server would be rather boring without her character.  (Its two parts, sorry for length)

The last but sertently not the least of the Admin team is Taylor, or Fearlessking, I met Taylor along with the others on our previous server, and let me tell you his skills as an RPer are to be worthy of award. Not only do his characters provide a ton of fun, but he is just an all around great guy, a musician at heart he has recently composed a beautiful short song that will be used in future Talarra videos. Taylor's phenomenal skill as a musician is matched only by his unique personality, without Taylor, we'd be stuck listening to C418's boring and repetitive Minecraft music. These four people together are the driving force behind Talarra, they all contribute a great deal to the server maintenance and growth and we would not be here without them. All in all talarra is populated by a interesting and varied group of people hailing from all parts of the world, I can honestly say because of Aldriona, Carlos, Dan, and Taylor and the whole Talarra community that there is no better server out there for roleplay, and if you feel even the slightest bit interested Apply, because believe me, you wont regret it.

Talarra. I mean, where do I start? There's so much I could say about it.
I guess I'll start by saying that it is one of the best rp server's
I've been on. While still in its early stages, it has bypassed rp
compared to some of the larger servers. Everybody takes rp seriously
here. Even if you are new to rp, the community is friendly and will get
you immersed in it quickly. Speaking of communities, Talarra has one of
the best. Everybody is friendly and willing to help. Some may call us
like a family here. Everybody has there ups and downs, but at the end of
the day, we're here for Talarra. It's great. Next up is plugins. With
our plugin monkey/lead developer/co-owner of the server, Sable, most of
our plugins are unique and one of a kind. Skills are great as well as
the combat and chat plugins. Sable has made most of these plugins from
scratch, which isn't a walk in the park. That proves how dedicated the
mod/admin team is. They're willing to devote a good chunk of their time
to this server and it's players.All in all, it's a great server and it's
one of a kind. Not matter who you are, if you join this server, I can
almost guaruntee you'll have a good time. Plus, it's free! Who could
resist that? Just hop and give it a try. I'm sure you won't regret it.

This server is definitely one of a kind. Very fun and loving community, and easy to get into RP with people. If there were any server out there that you MUST try it would definitely be this one. One of the greatest features is that it is free and there is no need to pay to play (Except for your Minecraft user if you don't have one). Everyone is fun to be around and most everyone takes RP serious so there is no half-heart into their encounters. The server is brand new out of the box with many new things that have not been seen before in any servers, why is this? Because some plugins that are used are homemade and designed specifically for this server. So what are YOU waiting for? Get on over here and come play with all of us! We will be waiting for you
