About The Server

This server has been around since 2011 and still going! This means you are joining a server where your work will remain safe for a very long time and its ran by someone thats learned how to properly run a server.

The focus of the server is to try and remain true to the core concepts of minecraft, which is obviously : mining (gathering resources) and crafting (building things) in a survival setting. There is no rampant world editing (unless for some special purposes) or creative options.

So with this in mind we do havea bunch of plugins that aim to enhance/improve the basic functions of the game as well as some thats there to give the player the feeling of getting better and stronger as time goes by. The idea is to rival massive complex builds often only seen in creative servers but doing so with mobs/hunger and associated challenges.

This server is obviously not for the fainthearted or the instant gratification seekers. There is no extensive ranking system where you get to feel all important and nonsense like that. There is only 3 groups on this server:

• Guests - people that just joined and need to earn build rights still.
  
• Newbs - Just completed the tests and starting out in the world(cant use lava/tnt)
  
• Regulars - Players that play often and have proven themselves to be trusted with lava/tnt

Features

1. No whitelist or complicated slow application process, just complete the automated test (4 small mazes and multiple choice questions.
   
2. Jobs plugin for player enhancement.
   
3. Plots and LWC protection.
   
4. player driven economy with shops and adminshop that sells special items.
   
5. Custom recipes for things like spiderwebs,circle stone,cracked stone,sponges, horse armor.
   
6. Horse management plugin lets you claim a horse that cant be ridden/killed by others. Lets you summon it anywhere, anytime.
   
7. Everything is logged with multiple staggered backups in the rare occurrence of griefing.
   
8. Mcbans ban sync system to keep undesirables off the server.
   
9. Hosted on dedicated hardware.

Rules

1. No hacking or unfair mods to clients.
   
2. No griefing, this is NOT a anarchy server.
   
3. No stealing, if someone forgot to lock something you should still know better.
   
4. No asking to be OP/moderator/admin.
   
5. Be respectful and courteous to others.
   
6. Don't dig narrow deep pits that will cause unsuspecting players to fall in and die.
   
7. No ugly single block towers! (It's fine to make them for temporary marking)
   
8. Give the people around you space, don't build a skyscraper next to someone else without first asking.
   
9. Don't destroy beaches/riverbeds for sand and leave it all broken up - go to a desert biome.
