Upon logging into the server, you fully acknowledge and understand the rules,
and realize that failure to abide by the rules outlined here will result in a ban.


SERVER RULES:

  1] No griefing

  • No destroying of structures that do not belong to you.
  • No placement of blocks on another persons structure.
  • No deliberate use of fire, lava, water, or TNT to destroy blocks.
  • No building of 1x1 towers or 1x1 pits; keep the landscape pleasing to eye.
  • Don't harass other players. Do not kill other players without reason.
  • Destroying other's crops.
  • No flooding of structures.
  • Don't leave inappropriate signs on other players structures.

 2] No stealing from anyone

  • No stealing from anyone, for any reason. Ever.
  • No scamming people when trading with them.
  • Misleading people into a situation so you can kill them and loot their items is considered stealing.

 3] Have respect 

  • Treat everyone with an equal amount of respect, admins or not.
  • Use proper language; speak politely.
  • It's okay to mess around, however, know the limit. Some people have more tolerance than others.
  • No blatant sexism, racism, or hate speech, especially targeted at specific users
  
4] Use common sense

  • Don't do anything that you think will get you banned; use your head.
  • Do not abuse the Admin stores. This includes exploiting bugs within the system.
  • Don't spam in chat
  • If you are banned under one account, you cannot play on other accounts on the server while the ban is still in affect. Players caught playing on alt accounts while another account is banned will result in a permanent ip ban.
  • No use of obscene or offensive skins
  • No advertisement of servers on the forums or ingame

  6] Listen to Admins

  • Always obey admins. Failure to do so will result in a ban.
  • If you think an Admin is being unfair, send Zakoschris a Private Message on the forums. Unsubstantiated claims of abuse are discarded; claims with screenshots are reviewed and action taken.

  7]  No cheating or hacking

  • No use of client-side mods. EXCEPTIONS: Spoutcraft, REI's Minimap, Optifine
  • No transparent texture packs or use of x-ray mods.
  • No duplicating items or attempts to create machines to duplicate items.
  • No flying. EXCEPTIONS: Donator with Supporter status or higher, Mods, and Admins.
  • No speed hacks, this includes walking faster and breaking blocks faster.
  • No use of bugs or exploits to gain an advantage over other players.

 8] Don't be annoying

  • No spamming chat, whether on the forums or ingame.
  • If someone asks you to leave their place, leave.
  • Do not beg admins for anything.

 9] Follow building rules

  • No building near spawn unless approved by an admin.
  • No building close to other peoples structures unless approved.
  • If you build something, please place a sign in the general vicinity of your building with your name.
  • Don't build anything that that looks ugly on purpose (cobble boxes, 1x1 towers, etc)

  10] Do not ask for a promotion

  • If you are an active player, are nice, respectful and helpful, you will get ranked up eventually.


FORUM RULES:

 1] Do not spam the shoutbox

  • Don't spam the shoutbox for any reason; the posts will be deleted.
  • Don't advertise in the shoutbox

 2] Create threads in the correct forum

  • When you want to make a new thread, please make sure it's in the correct forum. It makes organization a lot easier

 3] Do not spam on user's walls

  • Do not spam on the user's profile, for any reason.


ADMINS AND MODS:
Failure to follow these rules will result
in a demotion or possibly a permanent ban.


MODERATOR RULES:

 1] Do not hand out items

  • Don't give out spawned items. Period. No excuses will be tolerated. It defeats the purpose of trying to gather resources and explore.
  • Do not place spawned items in a publicly accessible place.
  • Handing out of items will result in a demotion, but handing out blacklisted items (TNT, Pistons, Fire, Lava, Bedrock, Mob Spawner) or materials to create a blacklisted item will result in a permanent ban unless you have permission from an admin. 

 2] Don't Start problems with other players

  • If a player is harassing you (READ: INSULTING OR ETC.) or other players, start with a mute. If they then resort to PMing or in-game harassment (messing with what you're building, etc.), kick them. If they come back and continue with the behavior, ban them.
  • Don't /god or slaughter players.
  • Be mature and handle the situation with caution

 3] Act Mature.

  • Just because you are a mod doesn't mean you are above the rules. The basic server rules still apply to you.
  • Use proper language. You're a mod, try to type with proper spelling and grammar. Players use you as an example.
  • Do not instigate problems with other players. You are supposed to be helping them out, not antagonizing them.


ADMIN RULES:

 1] All of the above Moderator rules apply to you.

  •  Do not spam destructive commands.


OWNER RULES:

 1]  Take all of the Admins and Moderators opinions into consideration.
