Hello! You've found the Mindstorm SMP Server!
Mindstorm is a 100% vanilla server (we do currently have 1 man sleep) that was modeled after servers like Mindcrack and Hermitcraft.
Mindstorm has a small group of staff that has been hosting servers for over 5 years. With the recent release of minecraft's version 1.13 out we have revamped our server with a world and a whole new players base. We currently are still accepting and looking for valuable members for our server. This will be our 7th season of mindstorm. Currently we have decided to keep this world open for a long time to come instead of resetting for a new season.

If you are interested in applying for our server please read the rules below and fill out the application process in the comments.
We have a laid back and chilled server, but we also pretty lenient. But along side that we also have a set list of rules as follows:
#1 Common Sense, use it
#2 Don't steal, grief/unwanted PVP this is a cooperative server and doing this will result in a
#3 No racism or excessive profanity, we are a mature server and joke around a lot but don't go over the top
#4 Put your favorite tree in the bottom of your application failure to do this will cause your application be denied
#5 Be active within the community! Don't just walk out 9,000 blocks and never say another word!
#6 Don't travel beyond 10,000 blocks. This makes our world size much larger and likes to create lag
We are looking for players that will be productive within the community and add value to the server whether it be creating amazing builds, a redstone wizard, creating community farms and shops, or just being an active and involved member of the community, that being said logging on once a week and making a base isolated 10k blocks away wont be appreciated and may not last you long.

How frequently are you able to play on the server? few hours daily (roughly 10 hours a week, 5-10 on weekends)
Why would you like to join Mindstorm? I really enjoy the community aspect smp envolves and the simplicity of vanilla
What skills do you bring to Mindstorm? Decent builds and good redstone, fun in communities and "fun projects"
What do you plan to do on the server? after i get setup i intend to stream my day to days on the server building and interacting with others

I play from 4-5 days a week whenever i have time considering i work
Why would you like to join Mindstorm?
I have been looking for nice SMP server not only a nice server but also a nice group of people to play with considering that there are not many Public SMP servers out there anymore because of people who just ruin it for the rest
What skills do you bring to Mindstorm?
I am a good builder in specific type of builds, I'd say im abit above average in Modern builds and Quite good at Medieval builds
What do you plan to do on the server?
Build and get to know abunch of new people and just have fun with the people i meet

Favourite tree has to be Dark Oak due to my favourite type of builds are Medieval and Dark Oak is very nice in those builds
And Favourite Update is 1.13.2 Cause of Aquatic stuff, its so nice

How frequently are you able to play on the server?
I would say about 5 days a week since I am being held up by school.
Why would you like to join Mindstorm?
I've was in a whitelist smp server before but that server has since closed down and no longer running. So I thought it would be nice to be back in a smp server.
What skills do you bring to Mindstorm?
I am a moderate builder, I am not a skilled builder but I do enjoy doing it and making it look good as much as possible
What do you plan to do on the server?
Probably increase the economy by making a shop or build public areas for other users.

How frequently are you able to play on the server? I would say all day, on school days a little bit less, but once a day never the less.
Why would you like to join Mindstorm? Honestly I totally accidently found this server and it just looks lovely, the community seems super active, great community areas and projects, amazing bases, like Hermitcraft.And that is what I have wanted for a long time!
What skills do you bring to Mindstorm? I am going to be making just huge bases and produce an unnecessary amount of farms and the products of those farms will be sold for a fair price.I know a decent amount of redstone and building and give myself a very high standard,aka I will never half-ass a project, I like everything I make to be polished and be just the way I visioned it.I'm also not afraid of doing tedious area clearing or resource gathering for a server wide project.Also, I hope to be a good friend if anyone is in need for some kind of help!

Why would you like to join Mindstorm? I am looking for a whitelist server similar to this, and I am considering starting a YT channel by playing here. I like the idea of playing with other people in a non-toxic community.
What skills do you bring to Mindstorm? I am pretty good at building, and kinda good at redstone. I did design a 3x3 door without any tutorials once. The only reason I think I'm good at building is because I watch Grian.

These should work! I have other builds, but these are some of my favorites. I have a steampunk airship, kelp farm, modern house, Giant axe, and a little hallway design.
My favorite tree is probably either spruce because I think it's very versatile, or acacia because I like the color. Also, my favorite update is probably 1.9, because despite the new PVP, I absolutely LOVE elytras!

The reason I would like to join Mindstorm is to play survival with multiple people, I have always loved the concept of hermitcraft and would like to join an SMP similar to that. I also post youtube videos and would be hoping if I could make a series on this
I like to build redstone creations, make weird builds. I can help with public farm projects maybe silly builds. I like to help others with their creations and maybe do a bit of pranks :D
