Mine Wars - The Server
This server is currently On Hold due to most builders having very busy lives recently.
We will be Greenlit for the final touches of the building stage once the builders are once again available. In the meantime, here is a replacement server run by Minecrafter3001 for all those who just can't wait, please apply there until further notice, at which point it will be taken down and this server will go online.
We already have like 3 spots filled for building stage, so I'm thinking maybe 2-3 more people would be perfect. Right now we are in whitelist mode, because we will be faction-based (Sith Empire vs. the Galactic Republic), and we want the capitals and Jedi/Sith temples built up so that we can begin. Again we are whitelisting and are in the building phase right now. So no factions yet, but when we do, we'll set them up like this: Once were up and running, the first week will have no PvP (in REAL days, not Minecraft days) so that we can expand and gather resources a little. After that, go nuts, but the Capital of each faction will be cuboided, so that say the Sith don't just go trash the Republic Capital and screw them over or vice versa. The temples will be also cuboided for the same reason.
There will be 4 combat classes on each side: Commando, Pilot, Jedi and Engineer. The commando will be an elite soldier with a blaster rifle, iron armor (clone armor) and lots and lots of ammo as well as a wooden sword (vibroblade). Pilots get their choice of a fighter, a bomber, a transport or, if they have proved themselves worthy, a frigate or even a capital ship (yes, we have Movecraft :P). They get the weapons that come with each ship, as well as a blaster rifle, some ammo, and leather armor (smuggler suit). Jedi get a stone, iron, or diamond sword (green, blue, or purple lightsaber) depending on how high up you are as a Jedi, as well as gold armor (Jedi robes). For a Sith, you get something similar: gold or diamond sword (red or purple saber), and chainmail armor (Sith robes). They also get total access to their respective temples. Engineers are more behind the scenes, they construct defenses and traps, as well as security measures such as vaults etc. They also carry a blaster and some ammo just in case, and also wear leather armor (smuggler suit). They can also construct TNT cannons, however they must have a permit from your faction to do so if on friendly territory. This is the most difficult combat job to get, as you must have extensive knowledge of redstone, however it can at times be the most important.
There are also non-combat classes, such as traders, architects/builders, shipbuilders/starport workers, and miners. They are all pretty self-explanatory, and you will get to choose one alongside your combat class. Trainers will be 4 people I trust who will train each of the combat classes. They will also be a member of the combat class they are training. So yeah that pretty much covers classes.
Factions will be chosen by you, but if it begins to tip in favor to either side too much I will rebalance them, so don't whine if i put you with the Sith and you wanted to play Republic etc. Your class will also be chosen by you, but if it seems you are better at something else or you suck at what you chose to do I will switch you to another class, for instance an engineer who doesn't know how to make a rapid pulser will be put into another group of their choice. Also, this server will be light RP so basically try your best to speak as if you are a jedi or an elite soldier or a trader etc. in the Star Wars world. If you need to tell an admin something, or need to report x-ray pack users (yes, it is cheating and yes, they are prohibited) or whatever, use (*)....(*). For example, (*)Uhhh, yok there is an xray pack user here he just dug straight down and got like 10 diamonds in 5 minutes so could you ban him please? It was [Name of guy].(*)
Our server uses Bukkit right now, but that can change at any time.

Why I Choose This class: Well it reminds me of Republic Commando a great game. And also it just seems like a good class to be in.
How much do i know about star wars: I know alot about Star Wars. I have been adding to Wookipedia for about 2 years now and I also own ever Start Wars Omnibus. I also play Old Republic. But I like the Old Repiblic more then the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War.

Why did i choose the server: Because for weeks now I have been trying to find a Star Wars roleplay server and looking at your history on the projects you have built you look like you could make a really good server!

Why did you choose this class: I couldn't decide between sith or commando. Pilot also sounded good. If I get on the server, check out my ability in each class. Put me in the one you think I work best in.
How much do you know about Star wars: I own and have seen all the movies. I have tons of lego sets and I own Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. I own SWBF2. That's it.

Why did you choose this server: I already have a server I play on. But I found this when I searched "Star Wars" and it seemed ok. Once I figured out we would be reenacting Star Wars, I knew it would be completely epic.

Why this class: i think its a very nice becaus of the mutch ammo and handy becaus its probaly a standard class so good for begining

Why this server: I love starwars and minecraft I came to PMC and looked up some starwars stuff i first found your texture pack and downloaded it (btw love it!!!) then i kept looking and found a few servers including yours and the other servers i didnt like but this one i do.
Expirence with starwars: I know alot like Darth Vader has a total of 13 scars on his head and Darth Maul has 7 horns on his head so basiclly im a nerd.
