Mortuus Terra... the Land of Death. In the year 2100, a world war was waged between humanity and a mysterious, long forgotten foe. Now, over a hundred years later, no one remains to tell stories of the old days. Instead, the world is scattered with survivors, bandits, and factions both good and evil.

Governments have long since fallen, and the only rules that remain are to survive at all costs, and trust only few. Small cities, some more degraded than others, are separated by harsh wilderness. Survivors scavenge materials from old buildings, or from abandoned mines in the mountains. Some have form factions to better survive and defend themselves.

But there is more to Mortuus Terra than just survival: Why are there so many Zombies? Are the rumors of Vampires true? Is this Zombie bite I just received contagious? Why are there strange, alien buildings in the middle of the wilderness?
