Pawncraft is an RPG-style server. We have many plugins running, to both ensure that the server is grief-free (Well, not technically grief-free, but we're able to find griefers as soon as you/we find a griefed spot and rollback their damages) as well as to provide you with more features in the game, such as portals, for easy travelling (We also have portals to the Nether!), mounts, because, who doesn't want to ride something? And of course, levels, which include woodcutting, mining, archery, repairing and much much more. We also have an economy and currency system, run by the infamous iConomy. Our currency "Pawn" is used for many things, from purchasing blocks, to protecting your town, to having an easy to use portal that can be used to travel to your town. Of course, we have even more plugins running and you can find out about commands and how to use stuff on our forum.


Due to this large amount of plugins, we've also made a tutorial section on our forum, to help you out with some of the more complicated plugins, as well as just helping you get started in the server. You can visit the tutorial section here: http://pawncraft.co.uk/forums/index.php/board,42.0.html

If you think you like the sound of this server and love playing RPG's, check out pawncraft.co.uk. It's completely free to join and doesn't require any applications. You will be a guest at first but by following the few steps at spawn will allow you to easily make yourself a member.

Note: You cannot spawn items in this server (You can spawn items in the Creative world, but to become a member here requires an application). Griefing is not tolerated. Hello Pawncraftians!

Today I am proud to bring you what you've been waiting for for many weeks now, what you've been craving to play, the world you've been wanting to see...

I bring to you Pawncraft 1.5

We've put a lot of work into this update, to bring you a bunch of new features, an amazing world and most importantly, the Pawncraft you all know and love.

Changes in this update include, but are not limited to:
  • Over 180 new biomes!
  • A new trading system, making life easier on both buyers and sellers!
  • The world map is back!
  • A server-side texture-pack!
  • A new and improved complete re-make of the clan system!
  • A 10% chance to obtain the head of your slain enemies!
  • And more...
We recommend that before play on the server you turn "Server Textures" to ON in Options -> Video Settings. This is a simple modification to the default texture pack to make some of our unique biomes look all that more spectacular.

We will be releasing a series of tutorials in the coming weeks to detail how to use some of the new features such as the trading system.
The server is live now on the regular pawncraft.co.uk address.

The server is now upgraded to 1.5.1! A custom world brings you the most fantastic landscapes ever; frozen mountains, feiry volcanoes, vast deserts with mountain ridges, netherrack deserts with obsidian worm structures, and so so much more. The vast map goes 15,000 blocks in any direction, from the middle.

The previous user must have been on a different server because PC's admins are the highest quality you will find. They are also very accountable and often check in with players and other admins to make sure they are doing a good job. If you're looking for a server thats fun, greif free and with lots of space, this is it. Plus its been going since 2010!

If you're thinking about joining this server I wouldn't, because honestly it's not a friendly server. Most of the admins and such treat you like dirt as soon as you join you never get helped out when you ask for help. You either get ignored or mistreated. You get accused for doing anything so even if something is an accident you'll probably be accused with extreme results getting you banned. It wouldn't recommend any young minecraft fans to join this server for that reason alone.

Why does this server stop my server from updating? I try to update but it says the IP is already in use?

This server is excellent and very user-friendly. The staff is active and very helpful. The plugins are just enough to make minecraft very entertaining without weighing it down.

Well, i used to play this server in early alpha, i played it almost every day, staff we're excellent and still are, this server is excellent, it always makes you feel at home, as all the players are kind, also the creations some people have made in here, its just mind blowing.

In my search for a nice and friendly Minecraft server Pawncraft.co.uk took my first place...
  • Great plugins.
  • Enjoyable gameplay with the client mod.
  • Lag only when world saves.
  • The owners are kind, friendly and always there for any trouble.
  • The staff is helpful and maintains that the rules are met all the time.
  • Pawned keeps adding or modifying stuff to the server almost all the time making it more enjoyable and fun.
  • PvP is on but controlled thus making it more fun and not frustrating.
  • Big and beautiful Towns.
... and a lot more features, just join and you'll see for yourself. I strongly recommend this server.

I joined many servers, but after i joined Pawncraft i stayed.
Pawncraft, you gotta love it,
  • Almost lagfree
  • Dedicated staff ( Wich im part of :D)
  • Awesome community
  • Good choice of plugins!
I would recommend this server to every one of you! Everyones welcome!

I was on this server since early Alpha, and I loved it all this time.


We have one or two new users everyday, and there is almost always 10+ people online. When I play I see 25+ people online, with at least one admin online all the time.

The server almost never has lag, the rare lag only happens when the worlds are being saved. And that never takes more then a minute.

Awesome server out of all the servers i play this is the best! i would reccomend this to anyone NO lag!

Server was not lagging at all when you were on. Any lag was the result of a slow computer or internet connection. Distance from server also needs to be taken into consideration.

In fact, I just took a look at the server you normally played on, did a ping to obtain it's ip (Was also getting over 100ms ping, that's not good :x) and it's from USA. I can only assume you're in the USA too, which means that you're on the other side of the world from Pawncraft.co.uk, hence the lag you were experiencing.

Although we have other Americans who play on the server and state that there is no lag, so I can also assume that you have a poor internet connection as well.
