Greetings from Planet Minecraft and myself, Zaralith

This year, Planet Minecraft is participating in a special charity where we can put our joy of playing video games like Minecraft towards a good cause by raising money for sick and injured kids in children's hospitals around the world.

I am going to be hosting special Minecraft and TeamSpeak servers for the event on the 20th and the Planet Minecraft team will be using that to stream our efforts for your enjoyment. As a thank you for your support, anyone who donates $100 or more to my page and leaves their minecraft username will be allowed to join this event server and hang out with us during the streams.

The guidelines are relatively simple in that this server is for us to run maps and events for the participants that are raising money. Any greifing or issues that you cause that hinder the stream in any way will result in removal of this invitation to you. You understand that this is for charity and will be on good behavior, and that if you are banned from the event for not following that guideline you will not receive your money back as we are in no way getting money from this.

Your donation is tax-deductible and ALL PROCEEDS go to help kids.

Last year, Extra Life raised more than 1.2 million dollars to save kids, but in 2012 our goals, just like the needs of the kids we serve, are much, much higher.

This server is now the Extra Life streaming server. Do not fear, we have an actual official server coming very soon. Those who donate to see the carnival server will see the system that we will be using. Spawn is Live : 05/14/2012 1:29:16 am5/14/12

Spawn is live and the test worlds are out. Remember, the multiverse worlds are likely to be reset before the server goes live for real, so do not build the sistine chapel just yet. PVP is on on the hardcore world and there are no animals at this time. The bad weather is permanent on the hardcore world because the Destroyer of Worlds has manipulated it thus for his amusement. Creative worlds do not have any mobs at all, and all portals including the entire spawn world have a small region around them that prevents building to keep the portal from being greifed.

The Spawn is mostly complete and will be added this weekend. This will also mark all worlds that are currently on being deleted and the multiworld permissions being launched. While these changes are taking place, the server will be closed.

Spawn is about 50% complete. The jungle does need to be repopulated and terraformed rough, and the interiors need to be furnished, as well as the massive skyrune. Current image is state of spawn at this moment.
