Minescape is a custom built Runescape based MMORPG Minecraft server. All mods are server side. It has 15 skills, 6 classes and will soon offer many quests. There are also special mobs with custom drops. This game is still growing and we welcome comments, ideas and bug reports on the forums.

When you first log in, you will be in the "GamesLabs Lobby". Run towards the "MS" area and choose a server to join. The first location you enter will be Tutorial Island. Here you will learn the basics of Minescape,

So several things:
- What is this storyline book you're gonna put in? Is it made up by you guys, or is it from Runescape?
- You've built several areas without certain content, such as Rimmington without QBD and Lumbridge without Thieves Guild, are you going to put these in?
- How expansive will the quests be? Will you be able to fit in dialouge, puzzles, rewards, bosses?


Just wondering all these things as a group of my friends and I attempted this last spring (on a one to one scale, so half the size of yours), and we got through lumbridge and draynor and it sort of died. I want to keep working on ours but I've always wanted to include quests, and wanted to know if there were any plug-ins to fit all of the parts of a quest in. Any information on anything truly appreciated. Thanks.

- Yes we will add those parts in, but we started off just doing F2P so didn't exactly "miss" them
- Going to be making our own private plugin for quests, there isn't one atm.

There is exploration, secrets, a storyline within a book that we haven't added in yet, actual stats (mining/woodcutting/farming/fishing/pvp at the moment), fighting in the duel arena and then buying/selling things for money

This is why you dont give mod to 12 year olds mattie... Me and a freind were boosting our pvp lvls noone ever said it was against the rules! so decked says stop, and i did then 2 other people came into pvp and i killed them both (two people i dont even know) and he bans me for boosting when he said stop... he didnt think his actions thru, even fully evaluate the scene and see what i actualy did, and before this he is also very abusive of his rank and uses his power to intimidate people, do anything he does not like against the rules or not or even say he got something wrong to do with like real runescape, he flips out / kicks and even banned 1 guy and muted another.... please rethink your player mods seriously? great server and i can see u put alot of effort into it and i love it, would hate to see it go downhill :/ if you read all of this thanks :) i hope you take to this kindly and do whatever u want.

Read it all, I understand the views from both sides, being banned sucks regardless, and Get_Decked thinks boosting is banned. Whilst not officially banned, it is frowned upon because it can be viewed as cheating :P


Regardless, he always tries to help the server and has done so on many occasions, he was only thinking with the server best intentions in mind, but I'll mention to him to lighten up on discipline :P

I'll have to admit though. I know Get_Decked's intentions are good, but more often than not he is conveyed as arrogant, assuming power over most of the players. He's a good guy and all, but he takes things waaay to seriously, and it often provokes people.

We don't have the time at the moment because me and matt are away, the server hosts are busy. Jamie is trying to set up someone else running the plugin side of the server so that people can have fun again, and we will soon be sorting out everything.

I am have a really annoying glitch on servers with nocheat. It pushes my back while I amw alking and sometimes the server even loses track of me walking and the world stops loading me. When I log back in I go back to where the server thinks I am located.


Now I have just been kicked from the server by nocheat for apparently using hacks after it told me to stop using them?


Yes, I have a moded client but very basic mods, and I use magic launcher, it is highly trusted client.

Too Many Items(I can't use it unless I am op, so this does not matter)

The players thoguh seem to be very quiet and everyone keeping to themselves. Aswell as there being no admins on right now be able to help us with this issue, because I now see that 2 other epople are having it.

I have some nice ideas how to make this awesome server even more awesome!
1. Install citizens and use the plugins for trading.
2. Make the house portal go to another world (with multiverse core and portal) where u can build in plots or something like that. ;D

They're both plans for the future, at the moment we're working on stats, or rather Chylex is, he's a really awesome coder and is fleshing out all the stats we want, gonna be packed with stuff :P


Then we'll start on housing and quests and NPCs and stuff :P

Ok, btw I forgot to say that it would be nice with a cooldown for tps/warps in all PvP areas cuz its easy to just warp away if u have low health.

Also I found a glitch while teleporting sometimes you get stuck in the ground and die, or hit someone else and kill them.
and when I touch water I gets stuck bouncing up and down till anticheat kicks me or I warp.
