What is Creative Building Redefined?

Creative Building Redefined is the public creative server portion of the Mithrintia Network. It's pretty much the same as Mithrintia has always been, a strong creative server featuring some of the best builds and builders in the Minecraft community.

What's the experience like on the server?

Here at Creative Building Redefined, our community is led by some of the very best builders in Minecraft. By joining, you're allowed to learn from these people, to be around these people, to view their builds like never before, even sometimes being able to watch them do what they do.

What are the server's specifications?

The server is run a 32GB dedicated machine, with only Mithrintia servers running off of it. Having such a powerful server behind us allows us to use tools like WorldEdit and VoxelSniper to the highest extent, letting us have the most creative experience possible.

What happened to the Academy?

Although the Academy was a fantastic idea, unfortunately it was simply not meant to be. There wasn't much of a benefit to teach, and so our teachers were incredibly limited, as well as we couldn't keep up the classes and our usual building at the same time. However, although formal classes will no longer be held, we'll still be offering constant advice and assistance in building.

What tools can I use if I join?

Here at Mithrintia, we encourage our builders to build to their best potential; in order to do that, we have to provide them the tools to build; WorldEdit and VoxelSniper are both tools that we use on the server for buliding. We are also extremely liberal about giving out these tools; you receive some portions of WorldEdit immediately on your second promotion, followed by LiteSniper and more WorldEdit on your third promotion.

Why are there so few slots? How can I make sure I can join even if the server's full?

As we are not a region-based server, and we operate off of a global chat, we have to make sure our chat isn't constantly being spammed by an overwhelming amount of users. Along with that, our staff is often busy building and can't attend to hundreds of players asking for help consistently. So, by limiting the player slots, we make the experience better for both us and the players, as well as making our job a lot easier. But, do you want to be able to join even if the server is full? Donate! By donating, you receive a reserved slot on the server, making sure that you can always log on, even when it's full.

What are the Server Ranks?

Guest: First rank, builds manually with their hands to prove themselves worthy in a 30x30 plot

Member: receives a 300x300 plot with same permissions as guest.

Tier1: Basic WorldEdit

Tier2: Litesniper, more WorldEdit

Tier3: Voxelsniper, Full WorldEdit

Artisan: Full access, last rank below staff.

That's right, we have switched servers! Thanks to our friend Vaecon, we have now moved onto a 32GB, dedicated server! Woohoo! It's supernice and we also have a supernice IP now! :D

Dear Players,

Unfortunately, at the moment, we are not able to give specifics regarding the servers failure to be accessible. However, rest assured that Mithrintia Staff is working extremely hard (seriously, we all have sleep deprivation) to correct the current errors from sources such as plugins and even the current host. The server should be open no later than Saturday morning (June 9th).

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience, and we greatly appreciate the patience and respect the majority of you have given us
