Is this a server where you can just jump right in and play? Or is there a whitelist or ranks, or stuff like that? I just want a server where I can join and build, and not be required to do any other things(i.e. make a sort of "login") If there's rules to this server, where could I find them?
Not trying to be annoying, just curious. :)

so i go to join your "non-whitelist" server because it looks pretty cool and all. i click the server to log in and it says i am logging in then it says, "Disconnected by server: you are not White-Listed on this server" thanks for the waste of time. >.<

Lol, thats hilarious. They don't know what online-mode is. It just makes it so the server won't check minecraft.net for the login people are using to see if it's legit or not. Basically, it allows people with 'cracked' minecraft clients to connect to 'cracked' minecraft servers. It is cool to help out but it also opens the door to people changing their name at will. For example, if you ban someone on an 'offline' server, it's as easy as typing in a different name into their client and reconnecting. It's like getting another free minecraft account in seconds.

spoke to Walton and apparently you were on logblock as griefing - came as a surprise to Walt - anyway - I spoke to him and whether it was a mistake or not he said he'll give you a second chance - you should be unbanned.

really? it is a pvp server for survival players, perhaps it's something to be looked at as mixing creative and survival is problematic at the best of times.I'll pop on server now and have a few words with folks. Apologies.

Mixing creative and survival is fine. Mixing creative and PVP is silly. If I join a creative server, the first thing I want to do is explore to see what has been built. Having mobs makes exploration interesting, and in many cases they aren't really an issue anyway. But having to fend off human opponents is an unneeded distraction.

hey :) it's just in whitelist mode with the new map being 1.1 (stupid updates!!) just sorting out plugins etcalso - the map is now creative - so all players from the old map have the option of playing both survival and creative mode :)
