About:
Westeroscraft is a recreation of the land of Westeros from the book series "A Song of Ice and Fire", and the critically acclaimed HBO series "Game of Thrones". This server is filled with huge fans of both the book, and TV series, and have come together to help remake the land of Westeros in minecraft. Once Westeros is complete, the server will change from creative, to a roll playing server.


FAQ's:
Q: Can I build when I join?

A: No, you must fill out an application on the Westeroscraft forums, and get accepted.

Q: What will become of the server when Westeros is completed?

A: Westeroscraft will become an RP server.

Q: If I get accepted, can I start building anywhere?

A: No! You must have permission from staff to start a build, and you must follow the guidelines and instructions on what to build.

Q: Are you planning on recreating Essos?

A: I believe we are, but Westeros must be done first.

Additional Details

You MUST apply AND get accepted before you may build! You also MUST have a certain amount of skill when building.

Amazing build but far too exclusive and cliquey.  Even if you get accepted it's not easy to  involved in ongoing projects.  If your not a confident builder probably best not to bother.  Generally new users are used for doing jobs they can't be bothered with like interior furnishings.  There is then no guarantee they just wont delete it all so they can give a different newbie something else to build.  Big projects are fun but then one mod agrees you can do something and another decides not and it becomes no fun at all very fast.  Maybe as a donator you get treated with greater respect but i doubt it!

If everyone worked on big projects, none of the little things would get done. We give new members little jobs as a test, to see if you are worthy of handling a bigger project. You pretty much have to build up to something big, but you must always start small.

Looks pretty ambitious. I'd try my hand, but it seems like a lot of bureaucratic red tape to go through.


I hope it gets just popular enough for a lot of players, but not too much to make it suck.

When Westeros and Essos are done, there will be enough room for hundreds of people, maybe even a thousand. Essos will be 4X bigger than Westeros, and Westeros is already massive.

Just need committed fans to put countless hours into the builds.
