It was a wonderful day at Santa's Workshop. The snow was falling, the elves were singing, and Santa was getting the reindeer and his sleigh ready for Christmas. But something horrible happened. You see, Santa had to capture a snowflake last Christmas that had an evil soul trapped inside. He put it in a bottle and left it in his room on his desk, as he had no well-protected container for it yet to keep it locked up. As an elf was dusting Santa's room to make sure the whole workshop was clean, he accidentally knocked over the bottle. Luckily, it didn't break. Or, perhaps, not luckily at all, because the cork that sealed the bottle popped out. The evil soul went out of the bottle and quickly put it back on. The elf, not noticing the soul coming out of the bottle, just picked up the bottle and put it back on Santa's desk. The soul hurried out of the workshop, hiding in the shadows to keep from being seen. When it got outside, the evil soul found a Snowman to possess. You see, the soul could only possess things related to snow, and its ideal thing to possess was a Snowman. Upon possessing this snowman, with its red scarf and top hat, the soul became The Evil Snowman. The snowman's eyes also turned into fire, a fire that doesn't melt snow, however. It didn't want to go back to the workshop. Instead, it waited until Christmas, and sneaked a ride onto Santa's sleigh. When Santa stopped at the first town on his list, the snowman sneaked away. When Santa left the town, the snowman started to wreck havoc upon the town. It tore down house decorations and busted down doors. It threw cursed snowballs and broke windows out of stores. The Evil Snowman had a good time. Suddenly, however, Santa became aware of the snowman's doings. He hurried back to the town, and used his magic to take the evil soul out of the snowman and put it back into yet another bottle. When he got back to the North Pole, as he became aware of the Snowman after he was finished delivering presents, he put the soul back into another bottle.This time, however, instead of laying the soul's bottle on his desk, he locked it up tight in an iron chest, where no elves or anything else could accidentally or purposefully release the soul again.
