Hello PMC,

I'm back and with a Contest skin (yay!) and I was inspired becuase I saw gravity last night (great movie btw) so I decided to make a astronaut because space can be a very lonely place, so yeah. Here's the definition of loneliness. A feeling of isolation, and depression.

And here's the story:

Tom Erving was an only child who was always picked on at school, but though many other children tried to comfort him he always felt alone. So he dug himself into his studyies and became a very smart young man, and was even invited to Yale. He accepted and went the following year. And for once, he wasn't picked on, he had friends and even started dating a very nice girl named Jane that also went to Yale who always wanted to be an Astronaut. She always talked about space and how it facinated her, Tom himself got interested but still wanted to pursue his dream of being a teacher. And one day when he walked into school everyone seemed silent, he asked some of his closest friends what happened, no one seemed to answer or meet his eyes. Another thing he noticed was that he couldn't find Jane, he new they were connected but couldn't figure it out until he went home and watch his recording of the news from the previous night. And he learned the terrifing news that Jane on her way back to her arpment had gotten in a car crash, she was rushed to the hospital but died on the ride there. Tom turned off the television, and just sat there paralized by the news, he just sat there on his couch facing a black tv screen. Then the tears came, he liad down on the couch crying far worse than he did when he was picked on. At that moment he decided what he would do. He would take on her dream and become an astronaut, the next day he started to train to become an astronaut for the next 5 years. And then the day came. The day he was being sent into space. But throughout all that time of training he didn't want to make a single friend, he didn't want to get hurt again. So he left earth without saying a single goodbye, the lift into space was one of the few times he smiled, he had done it. He spent the next few days in space, but the space shuttle he was in was only a prototype so everythinbg wasn't perfect, but Tom didn't know, so he didn't expect the debris that hit shuttle while he was doing the daily routine. First it was just a small little peice of some that hit his glass, a simple little crack apeared, but it broke the silence which he noticed, he looked in the direction of the sound and saw a huge chunk flying towards him he tried to pull himself back to the door but it was too late, it hit him and he flew out toward the abyss, he thought his line would stop him but it didn't, another peice had bbokren it, b=then he noticed the little crack was growing bigger. his eyes grew huge as the glass shattered and he felt the cold, and he once again felt alone. Then his head exploded.
