Atair, from the Assassin's Creed video game series, became Grand Master of the Assassin's Guild after killing the corrupt leader, Al Mualim, and is credited as the individual responsible for their secrecy and intense training.

It's actually the other way around. This skin in almost two years old - the mod maker (tales of kingdoms, if I am correct) stole it from me, and changed it. They've refused to take it out of their mod. You should go remind them that stealing is bad.

It's arabic.

Al-ta'ier Ih-ben la- -ahaad.

It means "The eagle, son of the one." but could also be translated as "The leader", "The scout", or "The hunter".

srry about the typo. but listen its hard enough just try'in to get on planet minecraft where i have dial up internet (its very slow) and if i try to download google chrome or something it wont work i can barely get texture packs.

oh my lord on revelations i got the 4th masyaf key and played altairs memory, he wore brown robes which were really ugly, and to complete that he was so old you got barely even jog for 5 seconds, and he limped when he walked. i miss the young Altair.

Yes, they stole this skin (and several others) for that mod.  I sent a message to the author several months ago requesting it be removed from his mod, as he did not request permission to use it.  He never replied.  As I'm sure you can imagine, I am quite irate over this.

"Son of the one".  I happen to speak arabic.  The funny part is that it's a very literal translation, and actually not the proper word for 'the one' in the context it's used.  Properly, it should have been "Ibn La'muraa"

Yeah. I am learning Hebrew, and we had a guest speaker in the class talking about the similarities between Hebrew and Arabic, and I got the game that day, and I noticed that mis-translation because (I hate transliterating, but here goes) Ib'n and ben, achad and ahad are the same. Funny how that played out. Sorry for the butchering of the words.
