Andrew Detmer was a teenager who was abused by his father and loved his dying mother. One day, his cousin (Matt) and the most popular guy in school (Steve) were at a party with Andrew and found a hole. Steve and Matt brought Andrew to the hole and the all went in. At the bottom of the hole there was a rock-looking block and Steve touched it. He started bleeding and was knocked out. They all fled the cave and went home. The next day, they all met up and figured out they had powers beyond imagination!
