Hmmm, one of my pals got Starbound, and has been begging me to get it. Is it worth it? I was skeptical at first, because I thought it was another Terraria/Minecraft rip-off, but you seem to know a lot about video games, so is it a good game?

It's in beta (alpha, honestly) so I would recommend waiting awhile to get it unless you mind losing your characters every few updates.

Yes, I would recommend it if you had fun with Terraria. It's much different than Terraria.
