This is me! dinodaw! This was made for the A skin, a person, an opinion, an idea -a skin event.
I got into minecraft after hearing about it through several web comics I read. I started playing classic and was hooked. I later bought the game and learned about skins. My brother downloaded MCskinedit, which is where I made my first skins.
PMC is wonderful, a place to share minecraft creativity. It is also a wonderful place to organize groups.
Here's an Idea I had on how to help PMC groups. "Custom Member User groups." Let me explain.
A bit about me.
I got into minecraft after hearing about it through several web comics I read. I started playing classic and was hooked. I later bought the game and learned about skins. My brother downloaded MCskinedit, which is where I made my first skins.
I got on PMC to post some of my skins and my texture pack. Here I saw some of the great Skinner's and learned about "shading".
I'm mostly self taught. I've seen a few tutorials that really helped me though. I'm constantly trying to get better.
Something that's bugged me
PMC is wonderful, a place to share minecraft creativity. It is also a wonderful place to organize groups.
What the problem is though, managing a PMC group is kinda difficult.
An Idea
Here's an Idea I had on how to help PMC groups. "Custom Member User groups." Let me explain.
We all know about the "Moderator" and "Contest Judge" user groups, Well "Custom member user groups" would allow regular PMC members to create their own usergroup's.
A Custom usergroup wouldn't give the members a special color, just a small member badge. Usergroup's would have a private forum (Mods would still be able to see it) and perhaps usergroup ranks.
I dunno, that's my thought.
