I think it looks like a spell went wrong...

How does this relate to magic, and how did you get the idea?
Previously I was (and still may be) a My Little Pony fan. I loved the costume of one of the secondary characters- Trixie, who has a generic old wizard costume. I thought it'd be funny, if I dressed up a griffon (a mythological creature) in something that resembles an old wizard.

The real magic is the colors :0

Congratulations on first place, but mind if I criticize a bit? Firstly, for future references, don't hue green to purple. It doesn't look pleasant as it does not complement each other. Try hueing green to blue (or vise versa), or Green to yellow. One example. Moving on, looking at the stomach, it just looks noisy. The random individual pixels scattered all over the stomach part (hat layer), and the shadow cutting through the highlights on the green, almost looking as if the character has a dent there. You can simply avoid that by getting rid of the shadow, and add two more highlights in the middle. Anyways, I could give you leftover feedback, but they're a bit trival. Good skin!

Haha! Thank you for the feed back- it's definitely going to help me in the future.

The dark blues were the main color I was going towards on this; but I couldn't resist the wide hue shift. It just seems nice to me. As for the "jacket" layer pixels- I just thought it added a fluffy feel to it.
Just kinda felt like I should explain myself a bit more.
