Halo Orbital Drop Shock Trooper from Halo 3 ODST and Halo Reach.

The Elite among the UNSC Marines, the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, or "Helljumpers," launch into Hell feet first.

This is the 5th version of my ODST skin, a nearly complete re-skin edit, retaining the silhouette, but incorporating the more accurate brighter armor plates and darker fabric. New armor sections have been added to be more accurate to Halo Reach.

i like the orbital drop shock troopers more than spartans because...
1. the game was awesome and i actually connected withe the characters...
2. they have silenced SMGs and a scoped pistol...
3. they pwn covenant without super armor, biological enhancements, or active camo...
4. and because your skin looks awesome :)

Well, when you day it like that, I'm kind of excited! At the moment I'm using a more detailed a shaded ODST from someone else, so if your v6 beats him, I'll use your new one! ;)

But he doesn't have that much helmet detail. So I've been using OmgSkins Halo Reach ODST, since I like the ODSTs from Reach a tad more. ;D

In V6, you should add some lighting behind the back of his legs then just leaving a black straighted a line. Just a thought. v5 for an example.

ah. thank you. that was worrying me because this is actually the first actual change to the skin's silhouette (below the chest, thighs, back). previous versions focused on lighting (that is continued here as well)

You know there's an update function, so you don't have 5 nearly identical skins in your gallery, you can just make changes to the old one and save over it, right?

Look at the top of the screen for 'update skin'.

I am fully aware of the Update Function. However, i dont want to force people to use the "new and Improved" skin if they prefer the old one. i am a firm believer in having backups and such. its just my system. and it works for me. plus, i get the bonus of being able to compare how well each update is liked by people.
