Though, I could be the good sport or I can be the referee and report the issue that I've just discovered. Of course, I'm not going to get worked up over an ice cream sandwich... but here's something that I would like to bring to your attention:

The following process is described as so:

"The site has computed the Top 100 Finalists based primarily on judges diamonds, community diamonds and other statistics."

Now, does this mean that the process is somewhat automatic, if it is based on diamond count? If so, then no wonder why my skin didn't make the cut, as it only had 3 diamonds, despite the details and shading, by which other skins had lacked that effort. Moreover, that might be the case as to how some simpler skins were able to make it to the finals as well; as they had earned more diamonds.

The best content isn't always the most popular content.

Oh my goodness...I just realized that your skin wasn't showing my upvote. I KNOW I totally upvoted it, because it was definitely one of my favorites (hence the comments haha), but I've been having some laggy internet problems off and on lately...usually if I'm not sure the upvote took, I'll check back, but this must have just slipped by. -_-

Yeah, the contest is primarily decided by judge votes, which count for 25 times that of normal votes. Only a small number of skins, around three to five at most, get into the top 100 on community votes alone. I don't really know what to do. =/ You might have been able to get in the top 100 if my vote had taken, but then again you might not have. Still, you produced a great skin and I am glad you are being positive. =)

Yea, I think that would have done the trick in the end, by which I do appreciate your vote, nonetheless. ;) But either way, there will be another contests... I'm proud enough as it is to be the author of the best ice cream sandwich known to PMC (supposedly).

But, more significantly, I think the largest factor was the fact that I couldn't even view my own skin in 3D, so I'm assuming that everyone who saw it couldn't see it either. Given that situation, the vote would have to be against my favor, since the concept isn't clearly represented in 2D, but its all they have.

I'll refresh its content and see if that gets the 3D View Applet working...

Well, idk, it could be "diamond discrimination" or the fact that the 3D View Applet isn't working quite right for this particular skin; which makes it difficult to judge entirely.

Eh, whatever... I guess I'll just accept my losses and try again, as the good sport I know I am. ;)
