I had to come up with a story so here it is. Took me a little while to think of it, but here it is. Hope you all like it.
My name is John Walter. This is my story.
72 days ago it began.
The government had come out with a "miracle" drug, which was supposed to benefit all. It's purpose was to bring people back to life, to, "revive" them. Mainly it was for people who had just died, so that decay hadn't started yet. It was a success, as people were able to have more time for doctors to cure them of diseases.
But a gang, as they say, stole a batch of the drug, and used it on people who had been dead to long. They drug wasn't supposed to work on people dead for a day or longer, but it did. But these people weren't people. The drug was in their DNA, but it changed, and they were able to infect other people after they killed them. They didn't respond to pain, and their brains weren't much more than mush. That's how the zombies rose.
I had been home by myself when it happened, and my parents had been out of town. But when they started pounding they door down when they heard me, I grabbed the axe and fought for my life. I'm only 16, and I don't know how longer I'll live. I don't know who all survived, but all I know is I will fight to the death.

Added a shadow to the chin area on the side of the head.
Corrected a light color on the skin of the chest.

Added a shadow to where the hair and skin meet.
Added a shadow to under the head on the body, where the neck/chest would be.
Added shadow to the side of the arms that connects to the body.
