Steve Harper was the ideal American. He was charming, charismatic, and very handsome. He was a church-going man, an outdoorsman, and an excellent cook! He was also known as one of the BEST salesmen in Virginia (arguably). It didn't matter what you needed to sell. Steve could sell your boat, car, house, cat, or your collection of exotic cheeses from around the world. However, in the immense firestorms following the great apocalypse of 2025, his skin was melted completely off, right to the bone! Ironically, his signature suit remained completely unscathed from the harsh flames. Shortly after this happened, Steve's life was saved due to the faux snow of radioactive debris which landed on his body and gave him the power to live forever. Steve saw no reason for his deformity to bring an end to his career and passion, so Steve continued helping people (what little were left) sell there many valuable items. He began referring to himself as "Jollybones" due to his once pearly white smile which now became a permanent feature on his rough, burned skull.
