M.A.T. (Military Android Terabot)
Through the small port hole windows I could see his shadow projected by the light of the sparks. Metal panged the ground, and drills and hammers could be heard battering iron and steel. Professor R. Gunnlod was at it again, working relentlessly on a doomed project, his hopes and dreams would litteraly spontaneously combust with every failed invention he made. I knocked on the thick iron door, the drilling came to a stop. Then the huge door creaked open to reveal a meek man with oversized goggles and oil stained clothing. He invited me inside, the ground was littered with stray bolts and screws and gears. The air smelled of oil and smoke. The most interesting thing about the lab was a shiny silver robot lying limp on a bench. The professor introduced me to the robot, telling me how this was the first of a line of supersoldier robots he was making for Her Majesty's Royal Army.
The professor walked over to a large lever, and struggled to pull it down. Sparks flew out of both the robot and the lever, the Professor was shocked so hard he flew across the room and hit the iron wall. He got up and moved his goggles onto the top of his head, leaving a sillouette of white skin against his soot stained face. Then the Android got up.
The red orb in the center of his iron torso suddenly lit up and the robot sprang into action. He ran at me and pinned me against the wall. "I'm so sorry, I must have programmed him to fight the first person he sees. I need to revise that." The professor giggled. Then, just before the professor could shut him down, the robot ran out the door and into the dense city. "That's a problem." The professor moaned.
I alerted the police and in a flash airships with search lights were patrolling every dark alley and winding road Allotropia. Everyone was to stay inside and out of the way of the robot. The windows were boarded up and the city held its breath.
The robot shot lazers from his hands that lit a few houses on fire, then quickly rocketed away before the water balloons could arrive to put out the fire. I pulled out small lazer pistol and I set out to find him, with the professor and his tracking device right behind me. Then we met the robot in a thin alley only a few meters away from each other. I pulled out my lazer gun and shot him, he fell to the ground. "Quick let's get to a river. You have only made him go into sleep mode and I am afraid he may wake up soon."
"Why a river?"
"He will short circuit and die in a body of water."
We tossed him into the sewage clogged river that ran through the middle of Allotropia. He sunk right to the bottom.
Little did I know, he would rise from the river again, rustier, covered in seaweed and meaner than ever.
