Well. This is my entry for the "Me! A skin, a person, an opinion, an idea" event.
Me
Well, I'm a brony. I mainly spend time in my room, on this computer. I play videogames or make music in my spare time. I don't really follow trends at all, i wouldn't say I'm hipster, but I do like things that not many people have heard of, except MLP:FiM, of course. I listen to music almost constantly, but I don't 'listen' to it as such, I tend to analyse it more, seeing how the beat or melody changes. I don't have a favourite genre, but I do listen to a lot of Electronica. I don't really know what else to put here...
The Skin.
It's a skin of me (obviously). I actually tried really hard at this, you'd probably be able to tell the difference between this and my other skins. It's just me in some regular clothing. I'm wearing headphones, because that's usually what I wear at my computer.
Me and Skinning.
I started skinning because back then (roughly a year ago), I didn't have anything to do. I started by opening a skin shop here on PMC. It wasn't too long before I had become bogged down by requests and had to close shop for good. I would then make the odd skin, every-now-and-then, post on here, and just see what people thought of it.
My Opinion of PMC
I love this site. The community is great, there are many varieties of skinners, project-builders, texture pack makers, modders, server-owners, you name it. Everyone has their thing, their own personality, which should be encouraged, not pushed down. I do agree that there are many stolen skins, mods, textures, etc etc and this needs to stop. I'm not sure how it would be, but we should people to be creative a lot more. Also, one of the main reasons I love this place is because of the people who showed me true happiness, in the shape of a certain TV show. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
How I would Improve PMC
Well, I had this idea a while ago. It's a pretty basic idea, but it would allow many unnoticed people to perhaps become more noticed. It's just something where certain things can only be on the Popular Reel once. This would allow more room for newer stuff everyday, from people who could use some recognition for what they do. Of course, I wouldn't know if this could be implemented or not, because I've never tried coding (if that's what you need (see what I mean? I know nothing of this stuff)) or owning a website.
