    Hello PMC Community,

It's Sleepertized here, and this time, instead of bringing you an addition to my RPG series of skins, I am uploading a skin of Myself, for the Event: -A skin, A person, An opinion, An idea-.

I made the skin of myself, and the type of clothes that I would normally wear in the Summer "Now".
Here is a Picture "yes I know, blurry as can be :P"

"YES I AM THE ONE ON THE RIGHT >.>"
EDIT: In the picture I'm wearing a Hat, however I thought that it wouldn't look good on a square head, so I just went with what my hair looks like :P
How I started skinning:

I started skinning after about 2 days of playing MineCraft, I was intrigued at the fact that I could customize my skin to be whatever I wanted to be, and having had some previous experience in Photoshop, that was the first program I used to do it. "And I still occasionally do"
After I made my first skin I got addicted to it! I started a skinshop on the forums of the server I played on. However it wasn't until recently, "about 2-3 weeks ago" that I started uploading to PMC, simply due to the fact that I was, and yes I admit it, intimidated by the sheer skill of all the others Skinners, but DinowCookie actually was the one who inspired me to get my content on here, I PM'd here asking for tips/opinions and she, so far, has been the only one to respond :D <3. When I first started out, I found it relatively hard to keep my skins to the correct format "because of Photo-Shop" I ended up with the blank/transparent parts and my skins often had white spots all over them, that being said, after I found out how to counter that, I could make quite a few skins a day!  And from the moment I stopped my skinshop on the forums I actually started to learn new shading techniques by trying out new things and getting feedback from other skinners on the server.

My opinion about pmc

I think that out of all the gathering places on the Internet for us "MineCraftians ™" Planet Mine Craft is by far the most interactive, fun, and useful place "At least for me". There are a few down sides, that I see more often then not, Like how all the higher level Users get their content spotlighted almost every week, leaving the lower level, but still equally talented, users to try and dig their way through the rubble of the community to get their work previewed. "No offense to all the higher level users, Just my opinion".
That being said I do appreciate the few more experienced users, DinowCookie in particular, for letting/helping get the new users/skinners/artists/owners etc.. Noticed.
    THANK YOU DINOWCOOKIE!

My idea to make pmc a better place!

My idea is that, once a week "Hopefully", I will upload a skin, and in the description, I will either link, or put a picture, of 5 skins that I found interesting/unique/well made, to the effect of, for every one of my skin views, 5 more "hopefully" will be viewed as well, and I feel that if us beginner Skinners, "Or even the more experienced" did this, That would help spread the views, and hopefully the newer talented Skinners would begin to get the recognition they deserve.

Additional Details

I would like to thank DinowCookie for setting up this event, in hopes of getting us Newer Skinners a chance to get noticed. I'd Also like to congratulate the ones who were posted on her blog, and the ones who didn't, Because I know you tried your best, and at the end of the day, That's really all that matters.

-Best Regards,
-Sleepertized

Tranparency : 06/19/2012 8:35:41 pm6/19/12

Yes, I fixed the transparency issue, causing gray spots to occur in the 3d hair, although it does not show that it is fixed on the right "at least for my screen" I assure you it is fixed
