The Legendary Quadropus!
Feared by many a sea folk, for this is no mere pus. Though he may have only 4 arm's this does not stop the awesome strength burning within. With the strength of three octopi, this creature can topple over buildings and sink ships with but one arm. Good thing he doesn't come on land... OR DOES HE? Quadrapus has the ability to breathe air for a matter of 15 to 18 minutes. He ranges anywhere in size from 82 to 105 ft.
There are a limited amount of them today in the wild because they die after reproducing, and the young tend to be eaten more often than not. These tasty quadropi are a delicacy to many of the other marine life and this also puts their numbers at greater risk.
From the above picture you can tell this one is a male. Male quadopi tend to be more exuberant in colors ranging anywhere from the above, to greens, blues and purples. This allows for better mate selection. While the female is a more bland version of its counterpart. This allows the female to blend in more to her surroundings and protect her eggs. Upon hatching the female dies and the male only a couple months after mating.
Such a sad life of the Quadropus....
