The marvel movies werent good enough, why?
Because they didnt style or describe the runic gods good enough and didnt even look like those in the movies, Thor was usually dressed in a light brown leather skirt like coat in read trousers.
and with red orangish hair and beard and didnt wear a helmet usually, but he did wear armor, except not when he isnt doing work, and was alot more cheerful. You wont need information about Óðinn.

So Marvel Comics' spin on the Norse God of Thunder wasn't good enough because he wasn't wearing a brown skirt?

I think it's important to realize that Stan Lee's and Jack Kirby's adaptation of Thor is only very loosely based on Norse mythology. And considering the character himself is mythological, there's no reason why they couldn't take some creative liberty with his attire.

Because Thor is a ginger you fool, Norse mythology, the majority of people were either ginger or blonde. and since Odin was a ginger, it takes belief that Thor is a ginger. :)

Wow looks a lot better than the original one you made. I think I preferred the colors of the old one though, but I can't quite remember how it looked exactly. I feel like it was a bit more colorful.

Oh wow I was way off, I probably just imagined it as the more classic Thor for some reason. Maybe because of the more classic Captain America you have, probably just scrambled those two at some point.
