no it's 1 pixel per each block which makes it 1x1. download it open it and open the terrain.png with any image veiwing software and see for yourself if you don't beleive me. also the whole terrain file is 16x16 which makes each block's texture only 1 pixel because the default resolution is 16 pixels for each block which that would then make the whole default file from the minecraft.jar 256 pixels by 256 pixels. Do you understand now? Or are just confused because I explained it in too much detail?

you should have done it in default 8x8 then work down to small things
not by much but lag DOES change depending on size of none textured sprites (iv tested and it does change things even if its only small changes)

well of course it's low detail!!!! 1x1 means 1 pixel per block!!!!!! It's not possible to make a 1x1 texture pack any more detailed than this! so, that means a block can ONLY HAVE 1 color. lol

Lol, I don't see how you would need to go to a 1x1 texture pack to compensate for lag. If you do, you REALLY need a new computer..

he opened the textures folder and shrunk all the textures down to 1x1 so all he had to do was place one dot in each texture.

no, I know how he did it. But the colors he chose look nicer than I would have expected a 1x1 tex pack to be. Though, I'm not saying it looks nearly as good as my 256x256 pack.
