Ok so this is a texture pack is not my work. I downloaded and i updated for the original guy that made it, youll find him by typing ancient egypt in the search bar, his name starts with an N. anyway. Ive been updating this texturepack for him and keeping it alive for all those that love it! I will continue to update, please post things that you would prefer in the comments, I will do my best to ensure that your ideas are taken to thought and possibly granted.
Since its been so long, im not sure if this is completely up to date, well anyway, if it wasn't before, it is now.
Please download the pack again for the latest update, it fixes your Iron and Diamond block confusions!

Various Blocks : 03/29/2013 3:15:38 pm3/29/13

Various blocks have better textures now along with the anvils and  the book has been changed back to a scroll and the writing a book is now a scroll and feather.

Emerald Retex + More to Come : 10/26/2012 8:54:13 pm10/26/12

Re textured the emerald so it wasn't blue and looked a bit nothing like emerald at all. let me know your thoughts about the texture and please provide feedback so i can respond and possibly redo the texture your liking.

Zombies N Skeletons : 08/23/2012 11:36:49 pm8/23/12

Zombies now have a mummy texture. Skeletons look a bit more egyptian, (not a whole lot done.) 1.31 things are included.

Iron and Diamond : 07/07/2012 1:00:49 am7/07/12

Probably one of the most awaited fixes of the pack, its finally here! The Diamond and Iron textures have been switched, giving diamond its more preferable texture back. Its an aqua color now, instead of a light brown. Your welcome

Eggs And Bedrock : 06/11/2012 4:11:25 pm6/11/12

Eggs now have their textures, sorry about that guys, creepers and wolves now have Egyptian-themed textures, creepers look kinda like mummies and wolves look like anubites. Bedrock has been replaced with a more exotic texture.

Replaced Netherbrick texture with a better one that personally i love alot more than the previous one.

OK so the pack is officially 1.2.5, sorry about the wait guys. Anyway i pulled the 1.2.5 textures from coterie's pack, they seem to fit in just fine and thats all im lookin for, so give you texture thanks to coterie and credit to him for those textures and please give me some thanks as well for actually posting this pack up and updating it for Nethellus. :D

This is a modified version I made in order to see
through the glass easier, yet keep the same basic look of the original.   



Also, pretty please update to version 1.4!!!!!  This texture pack is awesome!!!!!



Quick question (or perhaps not so quick) :  Why did you change the book texture to
regular books, yet leave the terrain’s bookshelf texture as scrolls on a
shelf?  I would really like it if you
made the book item look like the scrolls of the texture pack before you changed
it.  It makes more sense to have scroll
items that craft into scroll bookshelves than to have regular books that craft
into scroll bookshelves.  For the
written-in book, you could just add a feather alongside the scroll item.

aww yeah. the thought never crossed my mind to change the texture of the book and feather to a scroll, but I will do that, I also will retexture the emerald and update it to 1.4

I have a suggestion or two, When you update the texture pack you should  change the boat and make it look like an egyptian boat if you can,  the snowball could be a mudball you can make the snow and grass sand to give the mc worlds an egyptian feeling, of course the zombie should be a mummy, you can change the clock to an hour glass, maybe give an egyptian desing to the mine carts, Egyptianify the chests. These are just some ideas you dont have to use them all.

yeah the chests were at once better, some strange bug occured and it caused it to use a different texture from another pack i had installed that i used for a different world. The mummy, i dunno if i cud do that, but the minecart and the boat, yeah i probably cud, i didnt think of that idea

Yes I've always liked Egyptian boats. About the mummy there should be mummy skins here at planet minecraft unless your not aloud to use other things for texture packs. thanks for the reply
