UPDATE: SIMPLY SOLID IS NOW RELEASED
This is better redstone 2.0
YES ITS NOW 2.0
All new updates, new glass, new lamps and new pistons!!!
They're simplified versions of the actual minecraft textures to make it more simple when using it with redstone.
For redstone nuts, this is perfect.
It's simple so you can see redstone perfectly.
The redstone item texture is also updated, we used the ruby texture as it is un used and redstone seems it'd be more chalk-y than dust-y.

You have to open the start menu then type %appdata% and then enter.
Then, click on .minecraft and then go to texturepacks put the .rar file in the texturepacks folder!

OHH I get it.
Alright so. You probably just have the folder with the tex.pack right?
Well now, go ahead and download a program called WinRAR. Download the free trial.
When you have WinRAR, go ahead and go in the folder of the texturepack and select all the files and folders of the pack. Right click on one of the folder/files and click "Add to archive".
Don't forget to click the ".zip" button when the window pops up. Click ok, and you're all ready to go! You'll have a yourtexturepack.zip to put up to download.

I see that. Did you upload the file? don't forget to click "save" for the file to really upload. Let me show u in a few steps:
First - Click on the "Upload File" button. Then, click "Choose File". Choose your .zip file. then, under the "caption" box, there will be a save/cancel button. click on the save! Make sure the archive is .zip and not .rar
It should be all ready.

well i just putted all files to archive and clicked the Upload thingy and choosed the archive, yeah i am sure i putted it in zip.

No, it's the un used texture of a ruby. "Rubies" used to be emeralds.
