The various Texture Pack Versions:

The Version 13w02b and upwards only fully works with the new Minecraft texture format and is compatible with MC 1.5.x.

Version 1 ( Primus ):
The characteristic texture is silk for the wool blocks.

Version 3 ( Domus Update ):
The characteristic textures for ( Temple ) are a made after the model of ancient roman architectural elements like a column, the base, the capital, the architrave and the frieze.

For ( Domus ) coloured Travetin travertine textures for the wool blocks

Content:
- Charakter Skin ( tunic ) and tunic with toga
- Iron armor = armor of the Praetorian
- Diamond armor = Roman armor ( Lorica Segmentata )
- Gold armor = armor of the Spartan

- Font ( greek letters for the enchantment table ) and ( High Resolution Fonts )
- GUI ( all )
- items ( all )
- misc ( explosions, mapicons, map background, grasscolor, foliagecolor )
- mobs ( all ) except dragon, ( it has default texture )
- particles ( Smoke, Rain Droplets, Bubble, Hook, Flame, Music Note, Heart, Water Drops )
- terrain blocks ( all ) + extra textures ( saved in the "additional_textures.png" )

- Random Mob support

Installation:
search on your windows installation drive for %appdata%
copy the file "ejbs ancient world texture pack.zip" into the folder(looks similar to this) "C:/Users/username/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/texturepacks"

MCPatcher or Optimine ( is not needed implicitly, Texture pack works without it ) but
is needed for random mod support and to see the textures for water, lava (see [ejbs - Ancient World - survival - Texture pack for pictures], the clock and the compass and the portal and the Standard Galactic Alphabet replaced with greek letters.
configure MCPatcher: start minecraft patcher - go to options - set water and lava and portal to Custom Animated - set fire to Default - click "Mods" - activate HD Fonts - activate Random Mobs - activate Custom Colors - click "Patch" - click "Test Minecraft"

in Minecraft:
select "Mods and Texture Packs" - select "ejbs ancient world texture pack"

- The kitchen counter got moved to the vertical dropper and vertical dispenser. Because otherwise the Minecraft code would reuse the kitchen counter on the sides of the dispenser and dropper. The furnace top texture is the same as the dispenser side and dropper side textures.
- The dropper and dispenser in the temple preset describes an altar.
- The fluted column in all texture pack versions got moved to the sponge block.
