Thank you for updating this resource pack! I check in every few months to see if there has been an update, and just now discovered that one was released in September 2019.

Generally speaking, this is still my go-to resource pack and I will continue to use it. You asked me to report anything that is strange. I compared the updated 1.14 textures to the older version of Elveland Light used with Minecraft 1.14.4.

1. One change I noticed was that one of my favorite features is gone: the brilliantly lit up sugar cane. I use lit up sugar cane as a decorative feature that is visible from long distances, and the Elveland sugar cane was always more brilliantly lit up than the default sugar cane. Now the opposite is true.
2. The grass path has a different texture than it used to (tested with savanna biome) and no longer looks like a grass path. It now looks more like sand, only it is beige and not yellow. The old version of the grass path block in Elveland used on 1.14 had a grassy texture, which looked better to me. The color was lime green, which looked a bit unnatural in a savanna biome, but it still looked more like a grass path than the current texture in the updated Elveland Light.
3. When used with Optifine, the part of a cow's hide which was previously white is now light brown. Using the older version Elveland pack with 1.14 Optifine the hide was white. It doesn't bother me, though.

I haven't had a chance to use the updated pack for any period of time, but I will be glad to report anything else I run into. I haven't seen horses yet, for example, and am looking forward to them.

Things I still love about this pack: I love the overall rustic look and the beautiful detail in doors. I love the farms, the ore textures and the sky.

When I first ran into the problem of invisible horses when using an outdated version of Elveland Light with a new version of Minecraft, I learned how to remove certain textures from the pack and use the default textures instead. I hope this is allowed. Aside from the invisible horses, there are three other things I replaced with the default textures:
1. Gravel. The gravel in Elveland Light is black, which makes it easy to identify in caves, but you can't use it with other stone material to build paths with.
2. Villagers. I spend all my time in villages and the prefer the less creepy looking default villagers
3. Birch bark. (I just like the default version better)

Thanks again for the update!

With Minecraft 1.13.2 I now have invisible horses. I hope that is the only incompatibility with this resource pack which is still my all-time favorite and the one I keep coming back to.

EDIT: I was a bit worried so I asked around and people reassured me that an outdated texture pack won't corrupt my game. So I am still using this pack with 1.13.2. and I still love it. I have found other good texture packs, but none that I like as well as this one. As I mentioned in a previous post, one of the best things about this pack is the suger cane (sorry, I called it bamboo) - when you back-light it with torches, it is a beautiful shining green curtain that lights up at night. It is a great decorating resource! Thanks for this texture pack!

Hey NobbyQuack! The Minecraft Team changed the horse models so the last version (3.1 for 1.12) was showing these invisible horses. Now I reworked all the horse textures and armors to make them right again. It took me a while to update but now Elveland is better than never! I bet you will love the new horses and farms. Anyway, let me know if you see something strange :)

Thank you so much for making this texture pack available! I've only been playing MC for a couple of months, but I've downloaded and tried out many texture packs. This is my very favorite texture pack and the only one I use now.

After the Minecraft 1.12 update I removed the pack temporarily just to see once again how vanilla MC looks, and I immediately enabled Elveland Light again. Your texture pack makes my game look so beautiful!

I love everything about it, but some of the things I love the most:
The grass blocks viewed from the side.
The bamboo. When backlit they are like a brilliant beacon.
Doors and windows - they are very elegant and detailed
The brilliantly colored flowers
The different colored horses
The woolen blocks and carpets. They actually have a woven texture!
Ore

Thank you!
