This is my first texture pack. I've been making this while I've been reading the books.

I AM CURRENTLY MAKING AN UPDATED VERSION OF THIS TEXTURE PACK FOR THE NEW 1.0.0 UPDATE

The Update is finished, I have just finished creating the different types of wolves/dire wolves and pigzombies/wight walkers. Remember you have to use MCPatcher and enable the random mobs mod on it so you will be able to get the different type of mobs. I hope you enjoy it.

I will except any ideas you have or problems that you have found with this pack and I will see what I could do with them.

Thanks to everyone who has given me ideas on the texture pack. Especially for Nebsymax for giving me the idea to make the neather into the 'Land of always Winter' and also the idea of changing the look of the pigzombies into the wight walkers. Thank you very much.

I have some ideas for the minecraft homescreen. A song of ice and fire themed homescreen would be awesome, It could show a famous place in the book, like The Wall or King's Landing. Also replacing the old dirt background w/ a map of Seven Kingdoms or something. An HD text font would be cool to, maybe even the font used in the books to name the chapter like "TYRION"

1. Are the birch trees Weirwoods? If so do they have red leaves?

2. Are the cakes Sansa Stark's lemoncakes? if so are they yellow and lemony?

3. Is everything updated for 1.8? When I use it, the new blocks do not have textures. It would be cool if you can get these to work.

The birch tree leaves are connected to the oak tree leaves so there is no way for me to change their color to red without changing the other.

Which blocks don't have textures? I have tested it out with the 1.8.1 update and everything seems to be working.

for me, all of the textures for the blocks added after 1.6 like stone bricks and pistons. anyone else have this problem? I'll re download and see if that helps.

My god! You just blew my mind, I'm going to get to work on that right away.

but what would the ghasts be? I was also going to make the endermen the Others because there all evil looking and stuff, but i think pigmen would work better.

you should make the gold sword into the ice sword of the others and maybe the ghast could be the eagle that watches Jon Snow and Qhorin Halfhand in Clash of Kings, its a stretch, but it'll look cool. Also the Enderman could also be a wight, just in the overworld. Oh by the way are the wolves Direwolves? If so is Jon Snow's direwolf or someone elses?

I'll see what I can do. The sword wouldn't be that hard to change and neather would the endermen. But I don't know about the ghast, the eagle would look all messed up if was still in the ghasts shape and changing it into an eagle shape would mean that I would need to make a mod for it.

Anyway you should make the water kinda like um...it's hard to explain, make it kind of an aqua color maybe? Like in most exture packs, like the Xaiwaker water maybe? Just an example

Also may I suggest more realistic grass? I know it's not done but I'm just suggesting! :D
