in my horizon pack, I will incorporate a lot of good old textures back into it,
they'll have to be redone ofcourse.

What blocks should I add to the horizon pack?

To be completely honest, as much as you can! I didn't use the pack, cause I discovered it in 1.4. Just use the blocks that still give off the feeling that its a futuristic pack, without confusing the player what the block is.

yep, that's the whole point of Horizon!
The only thing that's not going to be 'faithful' are the stained clays, i'm going to use them to add onto the styles of the default blocks, but that shouldn't confuse the player too much!
