1.4.7 update finally
Featuring especially random textures, some animations and fixes.

This is still a work in progress [75% done]

Metallic TrueLiner is a simplistic and experimental texture pack for Minecraft (ver. 1.4.7).

Unlike most of other simplistic textures like ocd's TP for example, Metallic TrueLiner will contain all textures of all blocks, items, gui, mobs etc. eventually.

Almost all blocks in terrain file fully edited.
Some blocks modified a bit since first upload - especially mossy cobble a nd mossy bricks.
Issues with gui fixed.
Title screen.

Hi. The difference is not too big. To point out a few: Wood and wooden planks have different colors, pistons, bed, crafting table, signs, pumpkins and  there's more. And of course there's gonna be more. And it's quite likely some blocks (and there's gonna be items too) that are done already will be changed too :) Thank you for commenting!

Hi there from Russia! :D registered here just for post it.
im a fan of comix style (like "borderlands") and when i found ur texture pack... i even jizzed :D
please continue ur job and update it with new versions of minecraft!

p.s. one type of mobs are invisible, i can just hear them and attack, dont know what mob it was but my friend said that he can see him(original textures)

Hi, I'm glad you like the textures that much :D Certainly I will keep working on it as well as on the slightly futuristic version of this [called "metrufu"]. The issue is I'm quite busy so updates will not be too often, unfortunately :] About the mob, yes there may be fails like that - it's not a finished tp after all... Thanks for mentioning it! Thank you, man! I hope I'll manage to keep the comic book feel until it's 100% done. I'm trying to keep the pack fresh with for example current update's water and RS repeater animation and random textures for some blocks. Also I'm planning to come up with another version of MTL that would be more futuristic and even more metallic. I do not have much free time though so the updates are kind of slow...

I hope I make the pack complete one day before the sun kills us all :) And now I'm starting to be quite busy with things concerning real life so I'm not sure if I manage to update (bring you more content modified) before that or at least before 1.5 comes out. You can expect basically 2 things: An update of this TP (with new features such as random textures) and also a new TP very similar to this one but it's gonna be 16x16 and with no black outlines. Both are coming soon.

I'm sorry, the custom fire will be included in next update but it won't be available sooner than in a few weeks... I'm having hard time at school now (exams) so please, be patient (: As for SEUS, gunfreak57 has made the pack compatible with it but I don't think it's a good idea to release it if the pack is still not finished... Anyway, thank you for your interest and please stay tuned!

I don't have too much experience with the ocd TP but I think there's no items and stuff modified at all. Yet it's a very famous pack with thousands of diamonds... So if you say my TP is better it's really so nice to hear! I'm updating this one in days and also another version of it  is on its way - it's gonna be a bit more futuristic than Metallic TrueLiner - especially considering wood and wooden stuff. Thank you very much, I appreciate your comments! They really make me wanna finish my work at last.

Hi. Thank you very much! ^^ Well, all items have limited size. The square they have to be fitted in didn't allow me to keep the appropriate shape... This is the cost for having the swords (and tools) outlined with a straight line. I turned them by 45 degrees to make them smooth. The rest texture packs I have seen have the tools bigger but outlined with a zig zag.

Hi. Yes, the other packs (especially those realistic ones) are very detailed indeed. Especially cause they have better resolution. My target is to create a simplistic pack but still not too simple. It looks easy to do so but it really requires a lot of planning. Thank you very much for your diamond and I hope you have fun with the pack!

Thanks :] Well except for a few graphic bugs that still remain there are only mobs and villagers to be modified. And a few little things especially particles and achievements screen. Anyway I will try to finish the pack asap. The progress is slow though.
