Hello and welcome, I am Meri, better known under my nickname "LapisDemon", and this is a showcase post of mainly "outfit" / "wearable" models, more to come over time, so stop by once a month to check for additions.
I enjoy high resolution, highly-detailed models, I generally love to test Minecraft's limits as you can clearly see for example in my very detailed HQ Ultra HD Elytra resource pack modules, and I thought I'd start showcasing HQ highres models as well for fun, seeing how far I can push Minecraft (or my computer :))
I may publish a few sometime, it very much depends on the community's feedback. For now I consider it just a private hobby, like everything related to Minecraft is for me since 2010. I always loved to make aware what's possible.
I didn't come across many high-resolution models, so I thought I'd just do that myself, as it seems not many people are aware yet what's possible in Minecraft Java with just resource packs, no mods, no Optifine.
Maybe I'll give access to some models to future (Patreon) supporters exclusively, I got no idea yet, like I wrote before, for now it's just a fun hobby. Also, some models may fall under possible copyright, which may impact what I'll distribute.
But I very definitely want to publish at least a few basic models like e.g. ears, horns and similar, for free, I've always created everything for free for the Minecraft community, ever since I started on Youtube in 2013, and I'll continue to try to make others smile and have fun in Minecraft with free goodies :)
I love when people are happy and enjoy gaming, so if there's interest and positive feedback coming from you, I'll do my best to provide you with even more "outfit" / "wearable" models, accessories and such, as much as my few free time allows me.
You'll find the release posts here on Planet Minecraft as well as release videos on my Youtube channel > LapisDemon < and I'll also add those releases with their link into this post here.
I got a new show series on Youtube where you can see upcoming or planned resource pack modules as well as proof of concepts; this series will in the future also showcase "outfit" models. Some of these modules will be up for free download.
Check out my free Ultra-HD high-quality Elytra texture pack modules here on Planet Minecraft, there will be many more types and colours in the future.
For more partially revolutionary/new types of resource pack modules, many of them in high resolution and quality, look at my portfolio here on Planet Minecraft, more to come, also specifically for Optifine users.
I hope you'll enjoy the screenshots in this ever-growing model album, have a wonderful day! :)
Regards,
☿ Meri❤

These Minecraft models I showcase here are currently solely in my possession, they are not completely finished, not completely "cleaned up", not completely sufficing my personal standards for modules or worldsaves/maps I usually release to the public. That means the showcased models here still got some optical flaws which you may not always see, but I do, so if I'd ever release any of them, I'll have to still work on them to make them as perfect as possible for you, and maybe also export them in lower quality, so also low-end computers can load those models without noticeable lag, and because it seems it isn't most people's taste to use the highest resolutions inside a "pixel'y/blocky" game like Minecraft, as Minecraft got its distinctive look & feel.
(Side note: All currently displayed models are in one single test pack (!) on my old computer of 2014, and I don't experience any lag. Even these unfinished/"raw" high-res high-elements models are already as good as possible optimized for my testing purposes. Generally, you really don't have to worry too much about lag even with highly detailed models, as long as you a) optimize them as good as possible and b) keep the total amount of rendered models in your world low :))
These Minecraft models are certainly nothing every mapmaker should use inside their map, they are much too detailed and mapmakers not rarely use a bajillion of models and thus need to be a bit "stingy" with HQ HD models in regards to possible lag for low-end computer players. However, for e.g. roleplay Youtubers, using high-resolution, high-definition Minecraft models immerses their viewers even more, and they usually also own beefy computers, thus rendering many high-res models is no problem for their computer.

Read here about my thoughts regarding copyright issues which may impact which models I'll release to the public
E.g. imagine I'd publish a model for something related to anything Disney, I'm not sure if that wouldn't trigger some problems if I'd make that available for others. I still need to figure that out, but I guess as long as I don't take any money for pixel'y/blocky re-builds of also copyrighted figures or themes inside Minecraft, it should be fine, as it is free advertisement for them and due to Minecraft being "pixel'y", it's just not the same high-quality they originally provide, but just some fan stuff.
But it'd be also very important no one would (ab)use those models then for something neither the original copyrightholder nor Mojang/Microsoft themselves allow (e.g. profanity, trolling, R18+ content etc.).
- We'll see! I just started with HQ HD modeling, let's just wait and see where we'll end up in a year or so :)

Emerald for you!
Have a great weekend,
Meri
The only way to do that would be by changing the model of a BLOCK, in combination with commands, make those blocks appear on your pants or chest area. But I want people to be able to wear models in Survival Vanilla.
But you can be sure, as soon as armour is not hardcoded anymore, that I will make models such as tails of them :)
