you're the one who made this? I've been using it from a texture in an adventure map since 1.7 I think. I never actually knew who made it. It is such a huge help when fighting the dragon, and it makes caves visible without any actual light.

I just spent 2 hours editing this so that the status labels line up also moved shields to the other side where your armor level is and re-labeled the hunger bar as hunger. Will post later.

you're almost there, it needs to go into the misc folder in the texturepack's zip. the image must also be named pumpkinblur. I don't know why the image in the download isn't already named that.

Yes you did it correctly. Place it in the texture packs folder and you do not have to patch this so, go on and open Minecraft straight away.

Sorry for the late response, Im not a commoner on this website as much.. Download the file. Don't right click the picture and save it. It'll make it a solidified picture. And dont open it in paint either. Paint will also make it solidify.

Did you actually download the img? Don't right click and save it. Also don't open in paint, t will ruin it.

Um I hate to ask...
The helm image works, as far as the looks goes but...its not "transparent" I cannot see a thing with it on, BUT the image of the helm image...
How do I make it "transparent"?

No no, the whole night thing isn't the bother. It is I can't see, at all, day or night, I decided to give you a screen shot this time to clarify.

I can't see through the helm, all I see is the pumpkinblur image, nothing past it.

Adjust the brightness and contrast of youe monitor. It works great for me, but I never once said it was 100% night-vision.

Did you just rightclick the image and save it, or in any way open the image in paint to look at it? Saving it or editing in paint will take away the transparency. & it seems to works for everyone else.

It doesn't work for me. I put it in the mic folder and it used the Texture packs pumpkin blur. Then I deleted that, went back in minecraft and it used the default one. Any ideas?

In your texture pack's misc. folder, delete it's pumpkin blur. Then rename the downloaded texture (the nightvison one) pumpkinblur (EXACTLY like that) and put it in the misc. folder. There you go, enjoy!

Open up the texturepacks folder, open a texture pack, and then the misc folder is in there.

Does this make you see clearly at night?

TheElm

Pretty clearly, yea. If you look down a dark cave, its really hard to see, but then you put on the pumpkin and can see farely well.
