This looks like a nice pack , though that is more of because it is awfully reminiscent of "Eldpack", a pack that I am quite fond of. I'm not sure if you were influenced by this pack, but it certainly appears that way. Looking more closely at the textures, your pack certainly is not a carbon copy. However, it does look like much of your textures borrow Eld's style in an awkwardly identical manner. If that's the case, it might be good to put Eld's work in your description so that other people may know your original influence. He may not be updating that pack anymore, but there is a(n unofficial) continuation thread in MCF that they can find. :)

I hope this comes across in good terms. I do not been to offend or accuse, but rather I find this a curious situation that I do not know the answers to. You look like you're still updating the pack, so good luck to your future additions!

I was VERY inspired by Eldpack. This originally started as an attempt to keep his texture pack going, but I had issues sharing that updated pack. I couldn't get in contact with him to have his permission and I found there was another team trying to do the same, although I had no idea if they had his permission or not. Eventually, I decided to start over completely from scratch so I could at least claim I made everything myself. Eldpack was kind of the reason I started doing pixel art in the first place, though I want to try and distance myself going forward. I don't believe similarities in art style should be an issue tho, but there are some similar assets I want to change going forward. It's for the best...

I'm not dissing this RP, but I am asumming that you used eldpack as the base because when i first saw it i recognised textures then i downloaded both packs to compare textures with alot of them being ether matches or slight changes to the pack. Of course this pack is updated where eldpack isn't, but i suggest adding some note/credit saying that the pack was used as the base for this pack.

If you enjoy a good Minecraft adventure you might want to consider to download this Minecraft 1.8 resource pack. The GUI looks clean and you can see everything better. When it comes to your Minecraft world nothing will look out of place. What I mean by that is I have reviewed a great deal of Minecraft texture packs and sometimes you will find blocks that doesn't fit with the rest of the resource pack. I was quiet surprise about how well the tress, animals and mobs fit with the terrain. My favorite mobs in this resource packs are zombie, enderman, creeper, witch and wait until you see the roasted chicken.

When it comes to the tools I love the detail that has gone into the Iron and diamond tools. If you think about Minecraft survival the Iron and diamond tools are the most important and probably the most used. Swords and Pickaxe are always in your vision so when you see the extra detail that Red added you will appreciate this texture pack.

The most important thing about all Minecraft resource packs are the building blocks because they will be used a lot. One thing I can say about Red's Pack is the way he did the wooden blocks, stairs and slabs makes it easy to get really creative. If anyone is a fan of stone.cobblestone, cracked stone, chiselled stone bricks your gonna have a ball build amazing structures and beautiful design. You will change your mind about this 16x16 resource pack I highly recommend that you download and try it for yourself.

I gave this a 9/10 because I believe that any 100% complete Minecraft 1.8 texture pack should come with custom clouds. I really can't stress how much I hate minecraft default clouds and many of you might disagree with me on this, but custom clouds are the icing on a cake for me. It's like buying a pair of shoes with no laces.

I just want to say thank you DeadDirtyRed for this resource pack I had a lot of fun reviewing this and I like your artistic take on my Minecraft Universe. I hope you enjoyed this review by me GTG aka GTGJoint

Yeah, I know... It's kinda my name tho, and the others I saw at the time have yet to be updated to 1.5. If it becomes an issue, we'll find a compromise. :)

This is actually very good. I like the designs, and the colors are fantastic too. I noticed a bit of a repeating error on the spruce logs, and the side snow does not have a very visible shadow underneath. But everything else that I've seen looks just gorgeous. It's rare for me to find a pack on here that I like, and this is definitely one that I like. Keep it up!
