SEPTEMBER
AFTER THE FALLOUT

It's September 15th. It's been sixty years since the bombs fell, and now the survivors of the apocalypse walk the ash-covered streets and mourn for the millions of souls that perished in the blaze of each explosion. There's nothing left now. Only death remains.

September: After The Fallout is a post-apocalyptic HD texture pack that gives a dark and dismal feel to the game. Every block has been re-textured with the apocalypse in mind, and the altered green shaded lightmap gives the world a grim atmosphere. Contrary to what the name implies, this pack is in no way related to the Fallout series, aside from a couple secret references.

This pack was converted to 1.5 by Kira076.

Be sure to leave any feedback, good or bad, in the comments!

Did you use the pack in a YouTube video? Show me! I might just post it here:

For anyone wondering, this texture pack was indeed named after the song by The Living Tombstone.

Minor fixes. : 04/02/2013 9:25:27 am4/02/13

Looks like there may have been a few incorrect textures the first time around. They've been fixed!

1.5 Compatibility! : 04/01/2013 10:52:36 pm4/01/13

Aaaand, we have liftoff! With the help of Kira076, I have updated the texture pack to 1.5 and textured the new blocks. Nuclear Winter is next!

A Few Quick Changes : 02/18/2013 7:24:42 pm2/18/13

Slabs are now less ugly! The GUI has been tweaked as well, and a few minor changes have been made to make everything more smooth.

Armor! : 02/15/2013 4:22:03 pm2/15/13

Armor has been added, as well as a new pack logo.

Leather armor and iron armor are now there in all of their HD glory. Gold armor is a hazmat suit, and diamond armor is a hoodie and jeans.

Texture Fixes : 02/14/2013 12:31:31 am2/14/13

After the first few hours of release, as always, bugs showed up. The dirt with snow texture was WAY too dark, and that's been fixed now among a few other minor issues.

the first time I used this one and nuclear winter, it worked great and it looked amazing, but now everytime I mcpatch and try to use it(& nuclear winter) my minecraft crashes and I had to unpatch it for minecraft to work again. I'm not sure what to do. The crash report says (AMDescription: Unexpected error java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 32639) but I have no idea what that means.

le sigh... d/l both after the fall and nuclear winter again, replaced my old versions, got the latest
mcpatcher... and still crashing. Well, nuclear winter is. I can only see them it I don't patch. If I patch, I get as far as loading game/building terrain screen and then I get the crash screen. still same error as above. I am so confused. T_T why can everyone else use this?????? After the Fall is giving me a totally new problem. whether I patch or not, once i select it, I get the grey and yellow/black tape pattern in the texture pack screen & select world screen, the september after the fall header in the singleplayer/multiplayer screen, but once in a world I only see the default texture. I am soooo confused.
minecraft: ver. 1.4.7
mcpatcher 2.4.5_04 for ver 1.4.7

It's nice, but the textures are blurry. Kind of like if you lower the resoultion of a higher-res pack.

Well a lot of the terrain is adapted from freeware textures, so of course, they had to be lowered in resolution.
Edit Reply Delete
Its a good idea.... but if there where bombs and like 60 years of nothing has been done to buidlings....the blocks need to be a little more destroyed looking

I like all of it except the beds and some pictures. The pictures seem a bit too... random for a realistic pack. Also, the beds look pretty modern despite the "after the fallout" theme.

Yeah I didn't really take the pictures too seriously, but I never use paintings anyway. And yeah, I suppose I could maybe add some grimy textures to the beds.

I had that problem a couple times. I have NO clue why. It works for me on Windows, but on OSX it does that once and a while. First, make sure you're patched with the latest MCpatcher. Then, if it still does it after re-patching, try loading the default pack, then loading a world, and then exit the world and select the pack. It's just a shot in the dark, but it worked once for me.
