I have always wondered about Minecraft textures. They are pretty good. I tried to make some of my own. Here goes! Its a semi-simplistic pack, but also focuses on patterns and symmetrical shading. I really hope you enjoy the pack, guys, I've spent months on it! Every day I will add a new mob until I run out! I have a new goal! Can you awesome community members help me reach 25 diamonds? DONE! Can I get to 30? I don't know, but I hope so! Wow, this texture pack took off so much more than I thought it would! Can all you guys help me reach 40 diamonds? My life is complete.

The resource pack is now updated to 1.6.2. It also allows you to drop the ShaderPack.zip file directly into resource packs, instead of extracting it.

Try changing the actual textures more, not just taking them and adding pillow-shading. Also, I'd recommend using better contrast. The value between colors makes the shading EXTREMELY visible, which in turn makes such textures as the Inventory/Creative HUD spaces ugly.

Yeah, I agree with all of this. In all honesty, though, I've pretty much given up on this pack. I just made it to see if I could devote the time and even manage tom make it work. Now that I know that I can, I have started on one that I hope will turn out a bit better. (Not a simple pack at all.)

Thanks! I've been experimenting with the grass, and can't find anything I seem to like. I'll keep trying, though!
