We all love our crafting games.  Well StarCraft II and Minecraft are pretty cool.  If only there was a way to experience both at once...

Well, our minecraftologists have narrowed it down to this equation: StarCraft II + Minecraft + Creative Brain Power = The StarCraft II Texture Pack.  Full of fun yet close to the StarCraft II interface, this texture pack is ready to roll out the SCVs and start mining.  What's more, there are laser rifles for bows, compasses are now GPS's, and TNT packs psionic powers.

From the blue (and more blue) interface, to Zeratul Endermen, this pack definitely has some highlights, but we would gladly accept input for the next update.

It's all about the experience...and we believe in giving you practical textures with a stellar theme!

Update #3 : 12/26/2012 4:06:25 am12/26/12

Happy Holidays and a New Year rises!  Big updates for Minecraft, and a much needed update for this texture pack.  Mainly, minor tweaks were made regarding specs or scrap, but a few notable improvements were made, including:

-Wood sword revision
-"Hole-y" Beacon :)
-Cobble, dirt, & other basic blocks redesigned.

We (I, really) are still trying to revise the whole "Turn everything a different shade of blue" theme.  While this works nicely for an accurate Starcraft GUI, you do not want to walk in a monochrome world.

As always, open to suggestions.  Again, happy holidays!

Update #2 : 08/26/2012 9:44:29 pm8/26/12

After the 1.3._ major update to the Minecraft saga, our StarCraft II Texture Packs could use a tune up.  It includes photon cannon dispensers, reworked sand and basic blocks, lightened up some torches, and much more!

Thanks for your support so far, this has only been the second update to the original texture pack but giving diamonds and clicks for all these pics and goodies is worth it.

Update #1: Version 1.2.5 is here! : 07/15/2012 2:41:49 pm7/15/12

~Version 1.2.5 (Corresponding with Minecraft 1.2.5) is here!~

-Revamped basic blocks,  hopefully more distinguishable.

-Logically improved (i.e. The lasers or bows are now facing the right way).

-Environment rechecked, including sun and moon edits.

...And a few other tweaks as well!  This may be updated further in the future if need be (Ender Chests?!).

*NOTE: The diamond ("like") system works better if you enjoyed the texture pack and want others to see that it's a cool download.  So don't hesitate to click the diamond!

It looks okay, but I think I can help; try scaling back on the blue. You don't need it everywhere. I would suggest making it more barren, like the color of soul sand. You can instead use the different shades of blue mineral for the ores and perhaps green vespene lava. Make the sandstone look more like protoss building, mycelium doesn't need the red/blue, and iron blocks into more terran steel grey. And how could you not turn a creeper into an infested terran? I see a pack in the making, but I suggest laying off the blue first.

it looks a little to random. what would be cool is if mycillum looked like zerg creep.

Yeah I have a feeling no matter how much I update or revise the basic textures it will be one of those "themed" or artsy packs that may not necessarily be practical after a while.

'Tis the challenge of a designer.

Well, there have been some tweaks as well as the regular haul of new items, and the creative gui, etc.

I did add screenshots but also kept some from the last update.  I suspect future updates will only add to the quality.

Yeah the beta was about 90% complete so there were only some tweaks.  I'd still rather have new and returning people download this over the original.

And I'm not sure what you mean by armor and all that is done.  I did do some small improvements to the armor especially iron since you can't see it very well in the inventory.
