The year is 1775. The 13 Colonies of America and The British Empire are on the brink of all-out war. Blood will be shed, Lives will be lost.
Your time has come, to determine whether Americans shall be free men, or slaves.
You are a simple american, who will take up the task of fighting for your country. Whether you choose to do it under cover of darkness or in daylight is up to you.
You will use redesigned armor & weapons, such as the Sword, the Musket and The Tomahawk to annihilate your Redcoat Enemies and protect your land.
You will rebuild your village and craft new tools to help you in your fight.
You will fight for your independence.
You will RISE.
Designed from the ground up over more than a year, The American Revolution Resource Pack takes one of history's most significant moments and puts it in your hands. This texture pack is historically themed to 1770's America, where the 13 Colonies of America fight for their Independence from their British Overlords. (Yes, it is also Assassin's Creed based, but not very much) The pack is supposed to add a darker tone to the environment, and a much better environment to play in.
2.0 NOW INCLUDES:
- As a small story, You play the role of an American, fighting for your country. Enemies are dressed up as British Redcoats, who will attack you on sight (Zombies, skeletons, Creepers, etc).
- The New Animus 3.0 Format, bringing better GUI, Menu, Font, Colors, Vectors, a new Language, a new Main Menu background and more. Note, to use the language it must be set to "English (US)". A separate language file will be available soon.
- The New Eagle-Sans Minecraft font, designed purely for the American Revolution.
- All-new Sound Effects! As you traverse the vast frontier you will hear ambient music and whistles, as well as new sounds for eating, taking damage, muskets and for the main menu.
- You asked for it, and I have delivered it. American Revolution 2.0 Now features Muskets and Bullets! Gone are the days when you need a silent bow, a real patriot fills their enemy full of lead.
- Redesigned more than 20 Blocks, including Bricks and Cobblestone, taking the look from Assassin's Creed III but still giving it a minecraft feel.
- Redesigned more than 15 Items.
- Remastered mobs, Villagers now have two forms, a redcoat (zombie) form and a patriot form.
- Added more than 20 Alternates, giving you the opportunity to mix and match items, including Connor Kenway's Armor, Redcoat Armor, and add older blocks.
- Redesigned Balkon's Weapon Mod.
- Remastered Particles.
- Bug Fixes, including Clocks and Compass fixes.
- Added all new 1.6+ Items, and more.
